Great setting, family friendly. Plenty of room inside and out for our 12. Host was easy to contact and information was nicely detailed for directions and use of door code. Rooms were clean, the game table was a hit, as well as having use of kayaks and paddle board. We had a great time.

This place is perfect for a large group. We had a great girls weekend. Lots of space, right on the lake. The host was great to work with.

Beautiful spot on a Minnesota lake

We loved our stay at this property. The lake was in our front yard and my grandchildren took full advantage of it, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. The house is very spacious and nicely decorated.

Wonderful stay with extended family! The location itself is absolutely perfect for anyone who loves the water and a beautiful view - from all directions! Perfect lake time. Close to town, too, for shopping, restaurants and general exploring and close to several great hikes. The house overall was perfect - plenty of room to gather and nice private spaces. For those who love fresh air, it’s worth noting that some bedrooms and other areas of the home don’t have screened window/door options or “working” closets (space is there but no hanging bars, etc) which made for tighter space. Aside from those small details, it was a lovely property in a magical location.

The location on Sandy Point is fabulous. The house is well appointed and accommodating- but most of all cozy. We will be back for sure.

Great home away from home

OMG! The home was amazing. There was a total of 9 of us. All adults. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, space . We had a great time. The kayaks were a hit. Very nice dock, fire pit, plenty of outdoor chairs. Nice and private. We were very impressed with all the accommodations. Lots of extras, that we were surprised to find. Thank you so much for sharing your home .

Wonderful Point Up North

It was really nice to have a large property that fit our whole family with enough bedrooms and refrigerators. The beach area could have used some cleaning up with large pieces of wood and a metal spike sticking out of piece of wood at the beach. It was great being next to the boat landing, made it very easy to bring boat in and out each day. Being on lake Shagawa was really great place to do boating and fishing. Unfortunately, we had 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms that did not have functioning ceiling lights, electricians came and tried to fix but couldn't. Even with these issues I would book this property again, it really is a nice property and Kelly the host did a great job.
