Excellent home for NAU college graduation
The home is located in a quiet neighborhood, and has ample indoor and outdoor space to comfortably enjoy a college graduation weekend at NAU. We were able to cook and enjoy meals together and to drive the short 4-mile distance to and from campus. Although Wifi was spotty, that is not the fault of the property; it's just how Flagstaff is.

Perfect staycation at Flagstaff.
Beautiful property and location. Our elderly parents really enjoyed the relaxing stay and enjoyed all the great amenities available in the property. Loved all the natural lights in the living room area. The mini library in the living room was great, good dvd collections it has. Enjoyed reading few nice collections of books. Backyard overlooking golf course, able to see few deers in the evening. Owner was very helpful during our stay with questions and concerns we had. One of the best staycation in Flagstaff area.

Sharing the beauty of AZ w/family
The house was perfect for our stay, Highly recommended! Convenient location for visiting the Grand Canyon and Sedona. Even with 8 adults we never felt crowded, we loved the large dinning table, it made gathering for a meal and time together special. The house was clean and well equipped. Check in & check out was quick and easy. Thank you, Zoe and Charles!

About the host

We lived in Arizona for 20 years and now live in the Seattle area, but we still love Flagstaff and the mountains and visit several times annually.

Why they chose this property

There is nothing comparable to waking up in the mountains surrounded by beautiful pines and breathing the pure air. The house features vaulted ceilings and an open, flowing floor plan centered around the kitchen area that creates an engaging place to spend time with family and friends. Flagstaff is a friendly town full of history, and still retains a strong sense of local authenticity with minimal dilution from national chains.

What makes this property unique

Activities are only limited by one's imagination. One can walk to golfing, swimming, tennis and lunch; or drive a few miles on back roads to hike among the cliff dwellings at Walnut Canyon, or a few miles in another direction to hike to protected but undeveloped preserve with pictograph covered river canyon walls, or head downtown Flagstaff for a hearty breakfast before heading out to hike or bike - name your pleasure, from challenging to novice, and there's a hiking or biking trail for you. If relaxation is in order, you can't beat an afternoon on the shaded deck reading and watching the golfers go by or the squirrels and birds playing in the trees around you. Flagstaff has many very good dining options, an expanding craft beer brewery community and entertaining venues.

Snowbowl is 30 minutes by car.
Sedona is 45 minutes via Hwy 89A through Oak Creek Canyon.
The Grand Canyon South Rim via I-40 to Williams then north on AZ 64 or via Hwy 180 is 80 or 90 minutes. The East Rim via Hwy 89A North & 64 West is about 90 minutes. The complete loop takes 3.5 hours without stops.
