My family enjoyed this townhome in PCB. Great location away from the crowds and a short walk across the street to the beach. Spacious living/kitchen and bedrooms. The upstairs bunk room with additional king bed and bathroom was great for several people (it was up three flights of stairs so not recommended for older/immobile individuals).

Thank you for choosing RealJoy! We're glad your family enjoyed The Palms A6 — the quieter location and short walk to the beach sound ideal. It’s great the spacious living area, kitchen, and bedrooms worked well for your group, and that the upstairs bunk room with the extra king and bathroom provided flexibility. Thanks for noting the three flights of stairs; that will help future guests. We appreciate the review and hope to welcome you back.

The house was nice. It’s in a nice convenient location. The beds were comfy. The location to the beach was perfect. The parking is not so great. You cannot park a wide vehicle underneath in the carport. The plaster on the post will scratch your car to the metal. There was only an outside spigot to wash the sand off from the beach. No hose or outside shower to wash off. The pool was really nasty when we got there. The water was gross and stank. The kids refused to swim in it. They cleaned it and put chemicals in on Wednesday. Other than having to leave early due to the hurricane, our stay was fine.

The property was perfect and the layout was excellent for our family vacation. The location to the beach was wonderful as well. My family and I would definitely stay here again. However, the only things I can say that I would change about this location are: the loose railings on the second floor balconies, the loud dryer and running toilet on first floor issues that were previously been mentioned in other reviews, and the minimum amount of vacation supplies (only one garbage bag given, no beach towels, no cord for electric skillet, no grill for the unit, etc.) Saying this, my family and I will definitely stay here again - we will just prepare and bring more supplies for our trip.

Thank you for reviewing The Palms A6. I’m glad the layout and beach location were a good fit for your family. I appreciate you calling out the loose second-floor railings, loud dryer, and running first-floor toilet — our maintenance team has been notified to inspect and address those items. We’ll also review and replenish vacation supplies (extra trash bags, beach towels, an electric skillet cord, and options for grills). Thank you for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back.

Property has not been well maintained! Furniture is old, water damaged and outdated! Under kitchen cabinets have probably not been cleaned in years! Pots and pans are old, worn and burned on the bottom! We didn’t use them as they were just gross and In a dirty cabinet! Beds are terrible, one of the king size beds is basically a sheet on top of springs poking through! Bathroom baseboards full of dust and hair! They are very chincy on towels, trash bags and toilet paper! We booked a 7 night stay and only got 3 trash bags, had to wash towels repeatedly as we weren’t given that many! We don’t go on vacation to do laundry! Pool was also not cleaned the entire 7 days we were there!!! It was very murky and had mold from the sides floating around in it!! Would not recommend this place and would never book there again!!!

The property was fantastic when we walked in. Plenty of space, three story… but the problems that you don’t see until you sit on the couch and feel the wooden frame and springs in what used to be cushions, the couch is completely worn out, along with the 2 chairs as well. We stayed on the 3rd level, the GFI in the bathroom does not work, had to blow dry hair without a mirror— running back and forth to the mirror in the bathroom to see what my hair needed and where while blowing. The mirror itself, is nasty. Has a “X” across it. Not sure what that deal is. The bunk beds are not safe. The screws are coming out of them. (Hoping I can post pictures when I am done)Lastly, but most importantly, ALL 3 beds (2 kings and the queen)—- are like the couch— worn out and hard as a brick. Our backs hurt each day. My daughter and husband took the bottom level after my son and daughter in law left because her back was hurting her so bad from sleeping on the bed on the 2nd level. The king on the 3rd floor where we slept, or tried was ridiculously hard!Pillows were the same. I always bring mine, I suggest you do, too, to save neck pain. Location to the beach, all the balconies, pool location was excellent—- kitchen excellent. 2 Stars because the lack of being comfortable sitting and sleeping in a vacation rental of this caliber was very poor!!!! If I had known, I would have stayed else where.

This is an older property that was renovated . Primarily the kitchen and bathroom areas. The unit had three levels. The steps leading to the second and third floor were very steep and there lots of them. The third level did not have a door to close between the second and third floors. The washer and dryer was on the second floor and I believe it was the dryer that made a lot of noise because it was not level. Which could be heard on the third floor. There was a smoke detector which had a green light in the hallway that was so bright it interrupted the person sleeping on the bottom bunk. Had to put a mask on to sleep. It was a short walk to the beach across the street and that was convenient . There was storage chest on the outside that had beach novelty items that were not in the best condition some broken or extremely rusted and broken. The parking for the unit will only fit two vehicles which are very small in between two posts. I asked in advance if there was additional parking since the unit could sleep at least 8 people. I was told yes, and they stated by the trash dumpster. However there was not any parking available by the dumpster and that was a total inconvenience.
