Weekend Adventure
My son and I were in Broken Bow along with some other families. I booked this two bedroom. Very clean and comfortable. 2nd bedroom is detached so better with either two couples or older kids since you have to briefly step outside exposed to cross 4 feet to main structure with kitchen and living room. Great place though.

This property was presented as a two bedroom, two bathroom 1 unit cabin and technically yes it had both but the second bedroom was a remodeled detached garage. There was a breezeway between the structures, and a key pad lock that worked most of the time. The heat did not work in the second room. We found a small space heater but on a wooden floor this presents a fire hazard to leave on all night. It was 35 the first night we stayed and 45 the second night. Also, the second room was for our kids who are 5 and 9. The plan was to have more space for mom and dad time once they went to bed. No way would I ever let my kids sleep locked in a strange detached room with a lock that works when it wants to. The designer did not carry the flood lights into the kitchen so there was no light to cook. I had to use my and my husband's flashlights on our phones to see to cook at the stove. Online it says there are toys and games included. We found 5 games, one that was kid friendly, and no toys. The cabin's exterior has not been cleaned up in quite some time. There were 2-4" of leaves/pine needles everywhere and if we walked out more than 10' there were weeds that stood 2' tall. I understand this is the woods but the photos show a clean well kept gravel space. We took sports equipment and had no place to play. The lake that was nearby was covered in algae and scum, yes, it was catch and release but very gross to look at.
