Perfect size for 2-4 people and a great location. We took our stand up paddleboards across the lake to the Long Lake Bar and had dinner… super fun except for the lightning storm on the paddle back, which I am informed the hosts had no control over.
Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
We had a great time on Long Lake. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. The only thing we found was the mattress was not very comfortable in the main bedroom. Otherwise, it was a good stay and cabin was on the lake.
it was just what we needed. we hope to get up there again. only thing that would have made it better is if we could have found a boat to rent . also if i could have got the dvd to work.
The house was fine. The big problem we had was no hot water.

We’re sorry that the lack of hot water impacted your stay. The homeowner confirmed there was a water heater failure during your visit, but the necessary part has since been replaced. The repair has fully fixed the issue, and hot water has been restored to ensure a comfortable experience for future guests. Thanks for choosing to stay with us.
The cabin itself was better than expected. It is in a very serene and peaceful setting stocked with everything you need. There is no air conditioning but the breeze keeps the cabin cool enough. We had two things that made the stay less than ideal. The wifi password is written down and scratched off and no response about it from the owner but we could live without it so not a huge issue. Didn't even bother to message the owner that there was no hot water because we didn't get a response about the WiFi. Other than that the place was great.

Very Nice Location
The owners were helpful and friendly. This house is old and tired and could use updating. Before we could put our food in the refrigerator we had to empty and clean. We opened two kitchen drawers and there were pieces of nuts and animal droppings. We left a note for the person cleaning the place and did not use the utensils in these drawers.
Views beautiful. Very serene & quiet, loved that.
Nothing to do up there, which was fine with me. TV & cable, very out dated, if any. Bathroom needs an overhaul. Bugs in their.
Deck needs a hand rail. First step is too steep.
For a "To do nothing weekend " it was perfect, pretty much stayed outside. Never left the property, other than go to the store.

The property was just ok. Very old and outdated but I knew that going in. The TV and dvd player were not compatible so we couldn't use it. We could not get a signal on the tv so that didn't work either. We had no hot water for the last 3 days of our stay. I sent multiple messages to the host on the app and got no reply whatsoever. I would not stay here again. The house itself was fine and fairly clean.

Hi Dana, thanks for staying and for sharing your feedback. We didn’t receive any messages about the hot water during your stay; if we had, we would have been happy to take care of it right away. We’ll check the TV setup to ensure everything is working properly for future guests. We appreciate you letting us know.
The cottage is adorable. We cleared wild grape vines from around the deck and 2 screws that could have been disastrous on a foot. The shoreline could be cleared of lillypads but overall it was a relaxing stay. Many geese which didn't bother us but neighbors shot bottle rockets and pellet guns to encourage them to move away, this scared our elderly dog. We met 2 neighbors that gave us lots on history and information of places to get what we may need. We contacted the owners a couple of times and they were fast to respond. No issues just contact. We would definitely like to stay again.

Large deck has no rails, I received No communication from owners, I ask about having handicap access, Not sure who’s cleaning the place but It wasn’t!
There was towels in dryer and dirty one in wAsher
I folded and washed ours & all .
Cobwebs every room with bugs! The bathroom needs upgraded totally, !
After I cleaned the house , it was comfortable. Place needs real good cleaning .
Lot of fans , we used ; no air
Cabin is lovely knotty pine ! Off the main lake in cove
Weeds growing on roof in gutters!
It was ok for the weekend would not rent again;
Resentment in having to pay cleaning fee !
Place was dirty, cob webs all over. One bedroom had pills on the floor that our dog almost ate. Fleas in bedroom , yard had dog poo all over. Internet was out ,contact with owners was very poor. Was asked to pick up kayaks so they could mow no one ever showed up to mow. One small garbage can so no where to put the garbage. Was our first family vacation and was horrible we ended up leaving early.

Hi Kelley, our homeowners strive to provide a home away from home experience. We are disappointed to hear your experience didn’t live up to expectations. The homeowners or Evolve did not receive notification of any issues while you were in residence a year ago and wish you would have reached out then. We want to ensure that all guests enjoy their stay here and will do all we can to address concerns right away, so we encourage renters to let us know if any issues arise. We are confident that future guests will continue to enjoy fantastic stays here!
This cabin has become our home away from home. Our family owns another cabin on Long Lake and this one is just .4 miles from them. Our family has grown, so having this beautiful comfy cabin to bring our family from out of state is just PERFECT. The cabin is always stocked, clean, and offers a great environment for some R & R.
Had everything we needed for our stay. It’s in a nice area. Enjoyed camp fire in evenings. Right on the lake channel if you like to kayak. Inside bath is small, put gets the job done. One improvement would be to reduce musty smell in bedrooms.
This charming cabin was very comfortable and felt "homey". We loved spending time on the deck, around the firepit and enjoyed the open kitchen / dining/ living area. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and more. Glenn and Michelle were excellent hosts.

Long Lk Stay
This cottage is your knotty pine special. The owners are methodically updating this property. There are safety issues that they are taking care of which makes us excited to go back and stay. They are conscientious and will do anything to help make your stay a pleasurable one. Being on a small canal did not hamper the beautiful view and atmosphere of long lake.
The cabin is spacious and off the large lake which was the restful escape we were looking for. Great place to kick back and read a book! We were only there for 3 nights - the next time we will bring a boat; fish for our dinner.
We brought our elderly parents here and my disabled sister. Not truly handicapped accessible but we fixed our own ramp up and it worked out great!! Hoping to continue to do regular trips from now on.
