Private guest cottage on 7 sprawling acres of ancient live oaks on the banks of the Bayou Teche. There is a luxurious king size murphy bed, huge living room, full bathroom with tub/shower, and kitchenette. Take our kayaks out for a leisurely tour of the bayou, or relax on the hanging swing from the private dock, catch some fish, or just take in the beauty of the nature that is all around. Perfect for a family getaway or retreat. The Cypress Bayou Casino, Avery Island and the Tabasco Factory, Jefferson Island, Lafayette, and New Iberia are just a short drive. Stroll down Franklin's main street for shopping, antiquing, kayak tours, ghost tours, and airboat tours.
