Love the pool and Tiki bar. The airplanes going in and out of the airport was kind of loud. But after midnight we didn't hear any until around 7 am. Oter than that it was a great stay.
Pictures are exactly as shown. Clean room with a nice view of the marina. Kayaks for rent with a discount for staying here. Can kayak through waterways and out to Sarasota Bay, which is beautiful. Tiki bar and pool are nice! Airport nearby so you will hear loud planes during the day as the take off and land.
The property is directly on a marina with fabulous water views. The room was clean and as advertised. The onsite bar and restaurant was tasty and lively. Unfortunately the location is on the flight path to the airport. We were out of the room the majority of the day and the planes stopped flying around 11 PM.

Great bed size option of queen & king which was perfect. Beds were comfortable. Beautiful view of the marina & fun to hear live band from tiki bar at night. We didn’t go to the bar, but it looked & sounded fun! Also lots of people getting food so must of been good. We read about airplane noise so we expected it, but just know if you are there to sleep it’ll be tough. They are literally landing & taking off overhead. Walls are thin so you hear hallway noise as well. Vertical blinds were missing blinds & two were just on the ground outside on the balcony. Whole room felt dated & didn’t feel super clean. Just don’t look too close at anything. But the price was right & you get what you pay for. Hallway fragrance was wayyy too much, gave one of us a headache. Not a cute part of town at all, a little sketch to be honest. I’ve stayed in a lot of places so def not the worst, just know there are some pros & cons with the place.
Check in was great! Communication with host was fast and he answered all questions. The room is freshly remodeled so that was nice the balcony views of the inlet were beautiful. There is a place to eat right on site with live entertainment. The beds were comfortable. The planes going over the hotel are loud. The room was not very clean. There was comet on the bathroom floors and lip and finger prints all over the sliding glass doors. The dresser below the tv was sticky. Not the owners fault. They just needs better housekeepers.

Overall it was OK. Main things that drove negative ratings were based on overall quality of room. Sliding door would not securely close, saw roaches in bathroom, the secondary bed was not the full/queen I expected and the room was directly in the flight path of Sarasota Airport.
Overall, we found the room fine but not overwhelming. I guess in FL it's called a "condo," but it's a typical hotel room. The view was lovely, looking over the marina, with a nice sitting area, however the sliding door does not lock and it was difficult to shut the door. I reached out to find out if there was a trick to the door, but did not get an answer. Lucky the room is on the 2nd story, but I wasn't overly comfortable with the door not locking.
The bed was comfortable but the outlets for the bed were two extension cords hanging from the side table, not really safe should you be traveling with small kids. My phone charger got really hot from the extension cords so we used the outlets by the fridge.
The bathroom was nicely redone and the water pressure was great, however I couldn't use the glass shelf in the shower for supplies, since it was too loose.
The room overall was decently clean, the paint had mismatching touch up colors on the accent wall, and the baseboards could use a really good scrub.
The room did not come with breakfast, which is fine and stated in the listing, but you can buy it at the front desk for $10 an adult or $5 for 17 and under. If you book through the hotel, it is included. There was a microwave and fridge in the room, plus plenty of storage for your clothes and other items. If you book this room, do bring your earbuds if you're a light sleeper. The airport is close and you can hear the bar at night.

Balcony overlooking the marina was nice, as was big screen tv. AC blows right over the top of the head of the bed and it's loud No forthright information provided regarding ongoing construction or condition of room or property. Endured12 hours a day of construction noise in addition to the low-flying planes that other people have mentioned. So low that you can read their numbers/name. Balcony door wouldn't lock. First night I used the TV it went homepage in the middle of a show; put it back a little while later it changes channels on me. Condition of the property is old. You go to turn the cold water on and the whole faucet unit moves and the hallway carpet was filthy. Light was burned out over the kitchenette area and I asked them to help me with that and only got a response of oh, we'll check with the team on the construction. They never got back to me. While they are responsive for basic things, if you need something, don't count on them. Thanks, leave me in the dark. No elevator so I had to haul all my stuff up and down the stairs. The mini fridge was set on freeze and ruined my $12 salad. The twin trundle bed is hard, uncomfortable, moves around. I wouldn't be happy if I had to sleep on it. King bed was okay, could've done without the crinkly mattress pad, but at least they had one. The tiki bar had a nice cover band playing I could hear from balcony. They would not let me check in 1 minute early (4) citing cleaners who left when I got there at 3:00.
