Our family stayed here for our grandson’s graduation. We had a small get together on Saturday to celebrate and we spent the entire day on the deck. Plenty of room and privacy, not to mention all the flowers and plants which made it the perfect setting. Location was perfect. Highly recommend this house!!
Wonderful, spacious home. Super clean, comfortable beds, easy communication/check-in. Great location for Ole Miss events. Pictures do not do the backyard patio justice. Well-stocked for all needs. Unique floor plan with lots of space, bathrooms and privacy for all. Would LOVE to stay here again.
We hadn’t been to a game in 5 years so we were very excited to come back & this home made it the perfect experience! It was nice to have 3 bathrooms & plenty of room to ‘hang out’. We LOVED the back patio- such a gorgeous place to relax! Thank you!
This is a great property for Football weekends. The house was well appointed and has a great deck for an outdoor barbecue after the game. The walk to the Grove took about 25 minutes, and Uber cost $9 to get home. Much better than trying to park near campus. Communication with the owners was smooth and friendly. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
This house is perfect - much bigger than it looks and very nice, but comfortable. The location is ideal for a ballgame (easy walk to campus), but the neighborhood is off the main road (away from traffic) and surrounded by nice homes and woods (we saw deer in the mornings). The owners were available to answer questions, but the house had everything we needed. Even though our Rebels lost the game, we had a great time! We would definitely stay here again!

Viva and her family took great care of our home! It was as clean when I arrived as it was when I left! Wonderful guests!
My husband and I loved staying here for an Ol’ Miss football game! Also our 2 sons and cousin came to town to visit out other cousin who goes to school at Ol’ Miss. Wow! this was such a great house with warm, welcoming owners who greeted us and showed us around. They said and did everything to make us feel comfortable. We all slept well in the comfortable beds and loved their inside sitting areas, kitchen, and outside patio! Lucky us - coffee maker available too - thank goodness. Game day was Amazing! Easy walk to campus and the Grove! Fantastic stay! Thank you very much - We felt like we were home! 🤗🙏
The home was inviting, the street lovely, and approximation to campus great. This rental provided more than expected, immaculate and better than pictures. Awesome deck, spacious home, and friendly hosts that were quick to respond to inquiries - very helpful - made the weekend enjoyable & less stressful. Everyone agreed that we would want to stay in this home if/when ever traveling to Oxford again!
The property is gorgeous (except for neighbor cutting grass at 8am - lol) and the house is darling! All the beds are doubles or queens which would be important if you are not traveling with couples. Mary Margaret was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay - our last one at Ole Miss for awhile.....
Not only was the weather perfect for our weekend, but the house was just lovely! The home was very spacious and comfortable and the location could not be beat! Thanks again for a great time.
I am almost reluctant to write this review as I want to keep it a big secret. This property is a true gem. It is spotless, roomy, and within close proximity to Ole Miss. There is an amazingly huge outdoor deck area. With plenty of room for all. 8 of us stayed in this property and there was plenty of room inside and out. The beds were all.super comfortable as were the couches. There is even a blow.up mattress that was super comfortable as well. In addition to being very close to Ole Miss, it is very close to stores and restaurants. All in all a perfect place to stay.
The location of this home was excellent! We were in Oxford for an Ole Miss football game and we were three families. House is very spacious and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Very clean, comfy beds and a beautiful deck.

Comfortable, relaxing and better than home
The house was everything they said. It is a spacious, comfortable home with everything you need. It was easy to get everywhere. The owners were charming and provided all the information we needed. But the best part is the back patio. We were lucky and the weather was great, so we spent most of our time out there. The chairs were comfortable and the trees were beautiful so you didn't want to leave. We catered in dinner twice and it couldn't have been more pleasant. I was actually sad we had so much to do that we couldn't spend more time at the house. We already have friends who want to rent it for their son's graduation in a few years. And yes, we would rent it again.

Beautiful home perfect for Ole Miss visitors.
This home is beautiful and clean. The layout is perfect for multiple family's in town for Ole Miss events. The location is close enough to walk to campus. The homeowner really made us feel welcome. Not only would I recommend this property to others, but we are planning on contacting them to rent in the future.

Wonderful, charming home
Our stay here could not have been better. The house is lovely, the location extremely convenient and the owners were gracious and welcoming hosts. They were dealing with a family emergency on the day we arrived, yet still took time to make sure we had everything we needed, give us restaurant recommendations and so on! We rented two rooms, which shared a Jack and Jill bathroom, and the accommodations worked perfectly for our needs. A nice breakfast spread was set out in the kitchen in the morning, and we truly were made to feel at home during our short stay. We hope very much to return in the future!

About the host
Hosted by Mary Margaret Andrews
Wayne and Mary Margaret love to meet new people. Wayne is the Director of the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council and Mary Margaret had a twenty year career in book publishing and now works part-time as the Director of Doors of Hope. We have two grown children, our son is a Butcher at Homeplace Pastures and the other is a Special Ed Teacher and mother of the most precious little girl and boy ever! We enjoy traveling, eating good food and all things ART.
Why they chose this property
We looked for a house to purchase for a year and this one was under construction when we found it. Mary Margaret walked in, took one look at the deck and said 'this is it'! The house was built in 1953 by a professor at Ole Miss and his wife who was an artist. It has an amazing floor plan perfect for entertaining which we love to do. It was perfect and we love to share it with visitors to Oxford.
What makes this property unique
We have an awesome patio overlooking our beautiful park- like wooded yard. It is peaceful and perfect for morning coffee, afternoon glass of wine or outside dining.
