About this property

Enjoy this modern version of a bohemian styled home. The updated home is a mix of old and new. Each bedroom are styled with blackout Roman blinds for the perfect night sleep. The owners bedroom has a split king bed and a small yet sufficient owners bathroom . Bedroom 2 is designed with a emerald king-size bed and a roll away bed if needed. Bed room 3 has a plush queen size bed.. Enjoy the large kitchen with great for cooking large meals. When remodeling the home we maintained some of its 1960's feel with its original toggle soft switch lights. and the laundry chute in the hall bathroom. When you are ready to explore some fun in Cape Girardeau, know that this house is a hop skip and a jump from Cape Splash water park and Andy’ s walk up ice cream shop and much more

Eclipse 040824

Very nice accommodation, ample for 4 adults. We cooked two meals, watched the NCAA final men's game between UConn & Purdue, and sat in the back lawn in our lawn chairs to watch the eclipse. Beautiful established neighborhood with dogwoods in full bloom. A really nice stay!

The homes we provide where design for families to gather and make memories together yet large enough to break away for a little peace and quiet. I love getting to gather with my family, cook large dinners together, laugh about stories of our past, and simply enjoy life.. I hope that our home can provide an environment for you and your family or friends to do the same!

What makes this property unique

So many things are unique to this home. it was built in the late 1960's.. I was curious about the narrow vertical windows and learned that in the past it was a way to maintain privacy from neighbors. another unique thing about this home is its original 1960's "smart lights". Lights have come along way since the toggle switches that buz when you turn the lights on
