Just right. Good weather, relatively easy to reach/use waterfront, clean. Lots of kayaking, swimming and water biking. Place needs a dishwasher.

Reviewer Comments:
The neighbors were super friendly, cove and dock were great, but the house was dated. None of the outside doors closed tight, the one bed is in the old dining area and the mattress needs to be replaced. The washing machine made a lot of noise; the front entrance was not usable. The house also had a lot of cobwebs, the front deck needed to be power washed.

Reviewer Comments:
We had a fine time with good weather and no significant problems with the rental, which was clean and ready to roll when we arrived. The rental has good space in two bedrooms and a slightly crowded third bedroom due to the bunk beds. Renters should know that access to the waterfront requires walking on paths with roots and some steps that are truly Maine, or via a steep set of cellar steps. Once there, though the waterfront is easy to use and the cove is protected from the wind with very few bugs. It would be great if there were a picnic table on the deck.
