Lakefront home feels like a remote cottage but is actually located in a beautifully landscaped, secure, family-friendly, gated community within easy walk to the Gulf of Mexico adjoining Casey Key in Sarasota County. Our lake behind the house has great fishing for kids of all ages. There are 3 rods and reels in the garage so try your luck. The snook in the lake are suckers for lures, but the tilapia like dough balls (try a little peanut butter on them). The tilapia are like me...we like peanut butter on everything.

Walk, kayak, bicycle or standup paddleboard 1 mile from our neighborhood to Nokomis Beach on Casey Key. Enjoy the surf, sunsets, and moonrise or catch some sun and read a good book.

Bicycle the Legacy Trail, 1 mile away. It wanders for 24 miles along scenic routes and waterways; and best of all, no cars.

Use our clubhouse...perhaps a swim in the heated, saltwater pool with outdoor heated shower; enjoy the relaxing hot-tub; play a round of tennis; work-up a sweat in the exercise room; horseshoes; shuffleboard. Pickleball anyone?

Home is open-concept, great flow for entertaining or relaxing, and has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, living room area, reading/game area, screened lanai, laundry room and one-car garage.

Bedroom 1, master, has king sized memory foam bed, desk, two night stands, double closet, ceiling fan, and private bath.

Bedroom 2 has king sized memory foam bed with second bathroom that can be a private bath by shutting hallway entrance. Includes 46", flat-screen, wall-mounted, HDTV, VCR, DVD player desk, two nightstands, and ceiling fan. It also has a dressing room with oversize vanity and closet.

Bedroom 3 has queen sized bed, desk, one nightstand, ceiling fan, and closet.

A blowup queen sized bed with integrated air pump is onsite if additional bed space is required or if you just want to sleep or relax on the lanai to enjoy a bit of outdoors.

Bath 1, master, vanity, closet, 5' jetted tub and a separate shower.

Bath 2 has a 5' tub/shower combination and single sink with storage, and a separate dressing area with double vanity.

Kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances including French-door refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. Other items to serve 8 are dishes, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker, etcetera. You will find spices, condiments, canned goods, coffee, etc. since all guests are encouraged to leave them as long as they are not expired. You are also welcome to join this practice. It sure makes it easy for the first shopping trip.

Dining area has table and 8 chairs.

Screened lanai has a beautiful view of the lake, table and 4 more chairs; also two-seat glider, end table, and 2 rocker-swivel chairs. Next to the lanai is a sitting/game area with ceiling fan, rocker, reading lamp, two-seat chair, 42" wall-mounted, flat-screen HDTV.

Living room has sectional, leather sofa with 2 recliners and also BlueRay disc player, 65" flat-screen, smart HDTV, 2 rocker recliners, coffee table and end tables.

Laundry room has washer, dryer, and cabinets and shelves. Everyone just leaves items such as detergent, bleach, fabric softener, soap, toilette paper, etcetera. Please use as you like and replace as needed.

The attached one-car garage is where you will find fun items to enjoy during your stay such as 12'x12' beach awning, bicycles, kayaks, beach toys, standup paddleboards, portable chairs, etcetera.
