Built in 2015, this lovely 4 bedroom, 2500 sq.ft. home on a knoll is set back 175 feet from the street. This charming home offers privacy and flexibility for multi generational groups. There are 2 queen bedrooms, and 2 bedrooms with two twin beds each. The house has three full bathrooms (2 up, 1 down), a brand new kitchen with all new appliances, and a dining area which seats 8-10 people comfortably. You will also find a large living room with a gas fireplace, a separate sitting room, a laundry room, and several closets. Cable TV, wireless internet, and a land line phone are included. The house is located just a short distance from Main Street, Great Barrington. It is convenient to Tanglewood, Norman Rockwell Museum, Berkshire Theater Festival, swimming, and all Berkshire attractions. It is close to South Egremont and Sheffield for antique hunters. It is 1/2 a mile from Egremont Country Club which is open to the public for lunch or golf. It is also 5 miles to Catamount and 5 1/2 miles to Butternut Basin for skiers of all ages.

We enjoyed a peaceful stay in Marianne's home. It is nicely located a short distance from Great Barrington and all the lovely town has to offer. The hone was clean; instructions were streamlined and clear; the kitchen was amply stocked, and all communication with our host was kind, i formative and professional.

Great location! Easy access to civilization and historical sites. Well stocked kitchen. Very comfortable home with nice bedding, plenty of towels, and AC units in all key living spaces.

Check-in was excellent and kitchen did not lack for anything. Master Bed was small and mattresses were very soft. That was the only downside.

The house was perfect for our weekend ski getaway! It was clean and impeccably appointed!

The rental process was quick and easy, and the house is so much nicer than your typical rental. Everything we needed was made available and Marianne was very responsive and helpful :)

Overall the house and accommodations were quite nice and the home had everything we needed to be comfortable. The only real issue we experienced was that there were quite a lot amount of lady bugs all over the house (dozens and dozens alive and dead), but mostly upstairs where the bedrooms are which caused a good amount of angst for my small children. I spent a few hours capturing and vacuuming them all up so the kids would be comfortable sleeping. The owner said it was normal to have that many lady bugs in the house....I don't agree :)

Lovely home In Great Barrington

The house is beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and all of the bedrooms are comfortable and nicely furnished. Marianne is a very responsive and gracious host.

Fab Home Close to Skiing

Our family stayed here for a long weekend to do some skiing. The house was perfectly located a short drive from Catamount. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. Marianne was a lovely host providing us with info before our check in and being available if we needed anything (we were all set but the offer was so nice). My son loved that there were some board games to choose from too! Would definitely recommend this property

Very nice, clean, spacious house. Good air conditioning (it was very hot when we were there!). Appreciated the notebook of information and instructions. One minor issues; some outlets in the kitchen and bedrooms did not work - recommend that these be fixed (one of us uses a CPAP and had a bit of difficulty setting this up due to this issue).

Family Ski Weekend

Marianna was a pleasure! The home was immaculate and very spacious. We had a couple of questions and she was easy to get in touch with and very happy to help. I would highly recommend this location for skiing, it is very close to the mountain and close to town. Can't wait to go back!

Family Reunion

Home was spacious, welcoming and comfortable with enough room for all siblings. We enjoyed Great Barrington, and traveled up to Pittsfield a few times for the reunion activities. The WE was too short. We would love to return next year in August for our next reunion.

Better than expected!

We were thrilled to spend a weekend in this relaxing, spacious, and clean house in Great Barrington. The photos in the listing do not reveal that there is a wonderful living room with extremely comfortable couches and fireplace. We stayed comfortably with 2 families of 4 (4 11-13 yr. olds). The house is stocked with necessities and the owner is quick to communicate as needed. The house is only minutes from downtown Great Barrington and Butternut. It is also a beautiful spot for runs/walks outside.

Excellent Experience

My friends were impressed. We stayed here for James Taylor’s July 3 concert with three other couples. Everyone was impressed with the house. They was plenty of room for all of us. We had extra tickets, and my niece almost joined us, which would’ve been fine because we could’ve put a blowup mattress in the little room off the kitchen. Also, the master suite has a little extra room where you could actually put a crib or a blowup mattress for kids. The house was clean and came with lots of amenities. Marrianne was very prompt with all her correspondences with me. I would definitely rent this place again.

Great trip to Great Barrington

The house was wonderful and left us wanting nothing. It’s we represented in the listing and is located centrally for anything you might want. We went to Tanglewood and we played golf at the Copake Country Club. These we’re in the opposite direction and each was :25 from the house. We’d highly recommend this house.
