About this property
Cabin Retreat: Mountain Views, Starlink Wi-Fi, Stargazing, Hiking, Adventures!
Welcome to Sunset Cabin—our two mirror-image cabins are tucked away in the Montana woods, each offering breathtaking views and peaceful seclusion. Named for the unforgettable skies at dawn and dusk, these cozy retreats provide the perfect off-grid mountain escape with all the comforts of home. Your journey begins 3.5 miles off the pavement on 160 acres of private land, up a one-lane mountain road. This old logging road is Part of the Adventure- rugged and scenic—perfect for adventure lovers! A 4-wheel drive or high-clearance vehicle is highly recommended.
The Space:
Each cabin features an open-concept layout with direct access to a fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom, and private bedroom on the main floor. A spiral staircase leads to a cozy loft with a queen bed and futon that unfolds into a second sleeping space. Please note: the loft railing has wide openings, so these cabins are not recommended for young children or toddlers. Guests should be comfortable using a spiral staircase.
Cabin Features & Amenities:
Though completely off-grid, our cabins are equipped with state-of-the-art systems that deliver modern comfort in a wild, rustic setting:
Starlink high-speed internet (>100 Mbps – perfect for streaming, gaming, or remote work)
Smart TVs in the bedroom and loft
Gas stove with log set for chilly mountain evenings
Mini-split climate control for cooling
Fully stocked kitchen for home-cooked meals
Gas grill with griddle for outdoor cooking
Dimmable lighting & ceiling fans
Deck with outdoor furniture for relaxing in nature
Please run high-energy appliances like the dishwasher or mini-split during daylight hours to maximize solar efficiency.
