A secluded 10-acre farm in Eatonville, Washington, surrounded by mountains and lakes. Incredible for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful getaway. Close to Mt. Rainier and Alder lake, this is perfect for hiking, fishing, and exploring. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a chance to connect with nature, this is the perfect choice. It's an opportunity to disconnect from everyday life and embrace the beauty of the great outdoors! The space Built in 1901, this remodeled cabin on 10 acres was originally a homestead for the booming logging of its era. It is now our growing farm of fruit trees and Scottish Highlander cattle and soon to be a wedding venue.
Surrounded by trees and not another home in sight, this is a very secluded property with plenty of privacy.
We have updated modern amenities, A/C system, a fully prepped kitchen, WiFi, a 100 year old cast iron clawfoot tub with shower & bathroom amenities included.
The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and the living room has a pull out couch which sleeps 2.
Board games, flat-screen smart TV, an outdoor fire pit and yard games. The fire pit can sometimes be low on wood so we suggest grabbing a few bundles from the local store in Elbe.
Located only 20 minutes from Mt. Ranier National Park, there are plenty of hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, sightseeing and exploring all around.
Whittaker Mountaineering is also just up the road and has ski and snowshoe rentals!
Less then a mile away, Alder lake has public access to swimming, fishing and a boat launch!
Our property has plenty of room if towing a boat or have an additional vehicle.
We also have additional options for RV hookups. Contact us for more info if interested in bringing a camper.
Currently we have our property caretaker part-time living on the lower section of our 10 acres who is rarely there but to feed the cows and some night stays. We very much respect your privacy so this is kept to a minimum.
We will be in contact a few days prior to your stay with any updated information and better directions / instructions. We hope you enjoy your peaceful getaway!

The cabin was clean, quiet, comfortable and convenient. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking it again. The host was responsive. The view from the cabin was great. The location was a good combination of seeming remote, but also being easily accessible from the main highway.
Our stay was so peaceful and seeing all of the wildlife was so beautiful to see. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved it!
This place was amazing. Kids loved seeing the cows out the window and waking up to elk in the yard. We did the Santa train ride in Elbe - 10 minutes away and went into Eatonville for dinner one night too - 15 minutes away. Cabin is cozy and adorable. Hosts were very responsive as well. We plan on coming back!
We had a lovely time staying here! It’s very gorgeous there, a unique experience being able to stay on the active farm with the cows and other wildlife. A nice hour drive to reach Paradise Point for hiking at Mount Rainier. The space is also comfortable with good AC. Very very peaceful and out of the way. The hosts were quick, helpful and accommodating. I’d recommend this spot to anyone looking to travel to this area.
Great communication, easy to find. Absolutely gorgeous property with a beautiful view. Cute little cabin with all that we needed. We discovered this morning that we were almost out of toilet paper, but we got by. If we had realized sooner, I would have reached out and know the owners would have responded quickly. We wished the shower had more pressure. There bed was okay but not super comfy. But overall such a good experience! Would definitely stay again!!
Great, peaceful place with a stunning view!
Loved the cows and the deer visiting in the morning and evening.
Mt. Rainier NP is only a 30 minute dive :)
Highly recommend!
We loved your home. Lots of wildlife grazing. Most lovable barn cat ever. The cows, stormie, Brownie and Oreo there to welcome us back after a day of sight seeing. We would stay again
We absolutely loved our stay here! Nice piece of property. Beautiful mountain views, very peaceful. It’s an hour away from Mount Rainier however this is where you want to be especially during the busy months when the cars are lined up to Ashford. We enjoyed the privacy, fires in the evening after a long hike and our kids loved going home to Carlos and the cute cows. We had deers and elk visiting one night also. The house is chic & nicely decorated, loved the kitchen! I would highly recommend!
