Great spot in Ohio, exactly what we needed for a road-trip stop. The host was fantastic and the place had everything we needed. Walls were a bit thin, but overall it was perfect. Highly recommend if traveling in this area and want a quiet spot to rest.

This property is very isolated and remote. If you want to get away from every day life, this is the place. Cell phone coverage is limited, but there is WiFi. Sleeping accomplishments are comfortable and flexible. The kitchen and eating area are well equipped and functional. Artistic accents are created by the host and creat a unique atmosphere. A special historical and sports related surprise is the grave of Cy Young located about 3 miles from the rental property.

Very clean

This is a cute cabin about 25 minutes away from Salt Fork State park. The cabin was very quiet. The owners let you walk their property which nice. If you want a place to stay to relax. This is it!

Perfect Private Getaway!

We were hoping for a quiet, private do-nothing getaway and we found everything we could have hoped for at this property. It is secluded and definitely off the beaten path which provides a peaceful setting & big, non-lit sky. We even had a light snowfall that made for a perfect walk through the property's pine & hardwood forest. The "lodge" has a rustic feel with lots of live-edge wood that was cut from trees original to the property and milled by nearby Amish craftsmen. It's spacious enough for more, but being just the two of us, it was super easy to stretch out and relax. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed; the building was clean, fresh and well-appointed. We also enjoyed the glazed tile art that was made & displayed by the owner. And, although he lives & has his ceramic art studio on the property, the location of the lodge was to itself & private. Our interaction with the owner was fun & insightful; his willingness for accommodation & pride in the lodge is apparent. This property is versatile for getaways or family/group gatherings. And, if you feel like learning more about pottery or tile glazing, the owner's studio is just up the hill. Thanks for providing exactly what we were hoping for!
