The exterior was covered in spider webs. The interior also had spider webs in several areas. Window seals were packed with dead bugs. When I reached out to the host about either sending someone or we offered to clean if given 1 nights refund and we we're told the YMCA takes care of the exterior and the host lives an hour away. I was denied my request for a 1 night refund to clean. When we went to use washer and dryer there was a load of towels still in the dryer and when we went to use the dishwasher it was also full with a load of dishes. The sprinklers ran a lot making it hard to use the yard for games or just relaxing.
Cute country getaway. The location was great as we needed someplace between Prospect and Medford. I loved that there was plenty of parking outside and plenty of seating inside. The property had available seating for 15 people but pleanty of space for the extra chairs and we were able to served lunch for 30 people. There were also picnic tables outside and the grandkids had a great time playing in the sand/gravel pit.The older kids enjoyed the available games offered at the property, and there were several to choose from. We were able to setup Thanksgiving lunch with a smooth flowing kitchen, and thankgoodness there was a dishwasher. There were only two downsides. One getting in and out of the house was a challenge, because I am disabled, and two, although the bathroom is handicap accessible I couldn't use my walker in the restroom. Luckily the fit is so tight, I was able to hold onto the sink and the handicap handle in the shower to get to the toilet. The house was clean, but I rated cleanliness as a 3 because there were a lot of cobwebs in the livingroom, on the ceiling, in the lamps, and around the floor heater. We were able to sweep down and rehome the daddy long legs to the outside. ;)The host was amazing to work with and is really kind. I would definitely book this property again.
