This lovely single family home is just a few small steps away from the beach at Tybee Island's Back River and is a wonderful place to relax with family and friends! Enjoy sea breezes and views of the water, Little Tybee Island, and beautiful sunsets from spacious wraparound porches. Tucked away from crowds in a quiet residential neighborhood, the cottage is only a short stroll from the larger oceanfront beach, restaurants, shops, and the parade route. The house is very bright and open, with cheerful colors, an abundance of windows, and pretty views of the water. Sliding glass doors in every single room, except the dining room, lead to 10' deep wraparound porches. With over 1,300 square feet of outdoor living space, there are multiple sitting and dining areas available on the porches, including a coveted top floor hammock! The best place to clean up after a long day of fun in the sun is in the outdoor shower, which has hot and cold water and is conveniently located next to the gate to the beach.
The fishing pier can be a little busy on weekends during peak season, but privacy fences and mature trees, including a beautiful old oak in the front yard, help make the house feel secluded. As one guest put it, it's almost like you are in a large tree house with water views!
