Welcome to The Cozy Cub – where rustic charm meets modern comfort! Nestled in the heart of nature, our 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin with a loft is the perfect retreat for those seeking a memorable escape. With the capacity to comfortably sleep 8 guests (6 adults max), The Cozy Cub beckons you with its inviting ambiance and promises an unforgettable getaway.

We welcome your potty-trained furry friends! (Limit: two dogs, each no more than 35 lbs.) There is a pet fee of $150 per stay. Please review our house rules for more details regarding pets.

Step inside and discover a haven of relaxation with cozy blankets and entertainment including an Amazon Alexa sub-woofer for premium sound. Sink into the embrace of our cozy bedding after a day of adventure, and find joy in the fully stocked kitchen, equipped with everything you need to whip up a delightful meal. Engage in friendly competition with a game of pool or explore the extensive collection of board games – fun moments are just around the corner.

As part of the Blue Lake Springs HOA, guests enjoy exclusive access to Snowflake Lodge with a playground, sports courts, swimming pool and two private lakes (Lodge Lake & Fly In Lake) from Memorial Day through Labor Day. There are many other family activities throughout the summer as well including camps, lessons, campfire nights with live music, etc. Using the provided guest pass grants the ability to use the facilities with a fee. Daily fees assessed by the HOA for 2024 are $20 per person (over age of 2) or $100 for a group of 6. Weekly fees are $100 for individuals and $400 for a group up to 6 people. Whether you're an avid golfer, a water enthusiast, or simply seeking relaxation, The Cozy Cub provides the perfect backdrop for your ideal vacation.

Check in was easy,everything ready and clean upon our arrival.The kitchen is nice and had everything necessary to to cook meals on the stove or microwave,even had an airfryer.we cooked steaks on the gas grill bbq on the deck.rooms were nice,nephews played some pool.wifi wasworking well.i’d recomend a stay here,very pleased with our stay.

We had a fantastic girls weekend to rest, catch up and play. The cabin is well stocked of everything you could need or want and then some! We loved the proximity to Calaveras State Park, several lakes, and the use of the community pool for the 3- year old. We loved it and would definitely recommend it!

We loved our stay at the Cozy Cub! Keyless entry was super convenient for late check-in. The host responded promptly to messages. The fire pit table on the deck was great for roasting marshmallows with a beautiful view of the stars. It was awesome that they allow fur babies. The bed was comfortable, the TV was large and well positioned for viewing. I appreciated that the sofas were leather…. no need to worry about accidentally spilling wine and the wood burning stove made it extra cozy. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Cozy Cabin. It was very comfortable and clean and a wonderful getaway. All the details were thought of in the most hospitable way. It was snowing when we got there and we had no problems parking or getting to the cabin. The wood stove was a wonderful treat for us too! We definitely would recommend to even the pickiest of friends.

Truly a Cozy Golden Find

If you want a real rustic and peaceful cabin experience, this is the place! It was an amazing experience and overall incredibly comfy. It had everything you could dream of in a cabin which brings a huge sigh of relief, especially to those who are extra-packers and paranoid about leaving anything behind. I would definitely book this again for any time of the year.

Lovely peaceful location and cabin

My wife and I, along with our two teenage kids plus 2 small dogs, loved our 3 nights at the Cozy Cub Cabin. The parking is super close to the cabin, level, and immediately accessible from the road. Easy access to the local grocery store and restaurants, and only 10 miles along Hwy 4 to the lovely town of Murphys.The property is very well maintained and equipped, and was perfect for a school break family getaway. The owner reached out to ensure we had the information needed to access the property, and the checkout process was straightforward. We'd love to return at a future date.

Comfortable, Cozy stay

I spent a night with my family in the Cozy Cub and it was good. We’d had a fun but busy week leading up to our stay and my daughters very much enjoyed relaxing in the upstairs bedroom with a Disney movie (DVD player, TV, and movies were all included in the property). My wife and I enjoyed the pool table and fireplace, and we did s’mores on the outside firepit. We also did laundry while on site. Our travel plans called for us to move on after just one night but we all noted that it could be nice to stay in the Cozy Cub for longer.– came away feeling refreshed / recovered.

"Cozy" is the perfect word for it

We had a lovely, if too brief, stay at the Cozy Cub. All six of us (two couples and two older kids) were more than comfortable, and the kids loved having the upper loft to themselves. The billiards table was a special treat. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more) to prepare meals, and the back deck was a perfect morning coffee/conversation spot for the grownups while the kids played upstairs. The location is perfect... about 10 minutes from Calaveras Big Trees and just up the road from Murphys and Arnold. And the host was great--one of our party left something at the cabin, and the host went above and beyond trying to help us retrieve it. I hope we can return soon!

We named our cabin The Cozy Cub to represent our 3 little cubs. You'll notice there are little bear cubs everywhere throughout the cabin and cozy blankets to create a warm relaxing experience. What makes it unique is the character and access to 2 private lakes.
