The Creek House at Hanover - a spacious retreat on 22 acres that is tucked away but convenient to downtown Richmond, Glen Allen, the town of Ashland and the campuses of VCU, University of Richmond and Randolph Macon College.

Ideal for families or groups of colleagues travelling together for work.

An oasis in a beautiful wooded area, listen to the birds while you work remotely or relax with family and friends.

This 4 bedroom mid-century style home is nestled in the woods, but also includes a fabulous lawn that is perfect for every kind of sport. Extensive outdoor areas for entertaining and relaxing -- wrap around deck, 2 patios, outdoor grill area and more.

Large Great Room with vaulted ceiling, windows galore, a bar area and large stone fireplace. Comfortable and stylish furniture and a large TV above the fireplace make this an appealing room for a large group to hang out.

Awesome Vacation Retreat

The property was amazing and very spacious. Sandy was a great host and willing to help if needed. Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. I will definitely rent from Sandy again in the near future. My family enjoyed the serene and quiet of the neighborhood. Beautiful property, great location, plenty of privacy

Great host, easy to work with, accurate description of property. Stayed with family, had plenty of privacy and the property is great if you are traveling with pets. Lots of places to walk outside. Short drive to downtown Richmond and other areas.

A10 Tournament weekend

Our group of 3 couples and 2 children (Richmond fans) were in town for the A10 tournament in Henrico. We stayed at this beautiful property located on 20+ acres...it was perfect. The home is so wonderfully set up for a comfortable stay with all the resources a traveling group could ask for. The owner takes real pride in ensuring that everything is meticulously kept and guest friendly. We will certainly be back and strongly recommend this property. Thanks again!!

I've lived outside of Richmond in a great town called Mechanicsville for over 25 years. I love to travel and my favorite way to do that is to rent a home in a great location. I love being a host and would like to help in any way to make your visit to The Creek House the most amazing time ever! My husband and I live down the street -- don't hesitate to reach out!

Why they chose this property

The Creek House at Hanover is a very special spot. The 1/4 mile driveway sets the stage for a peaceful getaway. It feels so remote and quiet, but its so close to "town." Just 20 minutes from downtown Richmond, 15 minutes to Glen Allen, 15 minutes to Ashland, and we have great neighborhood spots just 10 minutes away.

What makes this property unique

The privacy of being on 22 acres in the middle of the woods -- it feels like a mountain resort. Enjoy a walk in the woods by the creek, relax on the deck or one of the patios. Or play your favorite sports on the large field. The house is a great size for a few families to share if you are travelling for sports, a family reunion or wedding. We're also happy to welcome groups of friends/colleagues who are working in the Richmond area.
