The property was well cared for and very clean. It had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Backyard with fire pit is very cute. There was 6 adults in our party and the house was a perfect size with 2 full bathrooms. Although our stay was in September, it turned out to be a very hot, over 90 degrees, and as the other reviews pointed out the A/C did not work well upstairs
Stayed here with a group of 6 and the house was very comfortable for us. The house was well stocked and everything was very clean. The location was great and there was enough room to park our 3 cars in the driveway comfortably.
My siblings and I came to Virginia to visit our 82 year old father and have a family weekend. The house was perfect for just that. Thank you for everything.
We were in town for the Richmond Marathon. A group of 5 adults and two little ones. House was clean and well decorated. Backyard was nice. Communication with the host was great. He allowed us an early check-in to accommodate a toddler nap time.
Owner has done an exceptional job upgrading this 4 bedroom/2 bath property. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Very bright clean interiors. Very well appointed. I felt it was a great deal.
My girlfriends and I rented this house for our college reunion and it was so perfect for us! We drank our coffee each morning around the firepit and relaxed and when it was time to get to UR we were there in no time. The house is renovated and absolutely lovely and we all commented how much we enjoyed our stay!
This house was perfect for us. It was my daughter and another mom with her daughter. We were in the area for a soccer tournament. We were able to relax in between games and do laundry. It was super close to so many awesome restaurants and the University of Richmond. Owner responded quickly with questions.
The house was perfect for what we needed. It was a quick ride to nearby stores and activities. The backyard is great, and we used the fire pit, set up cornhole boards, etc. Thank you for a nice experience in Richmond.
We had a wonderful stay! Thoroughly enjoyed the property, and its accessibility to our venue and other Richmond attractions.

Cute but inadequate.
While I don't want to give a review that seams unreasonably negative, I can't in good conscious rate it any higher. We were in the area for all-day events for 4 days & needed a place to eat & sleep in the evenings. The exterior was cosy. The special feature was the fire pit & outdoor sitting area, but since it stayed in the 90s & we were away all day we didn't use the outside. The failings were hard to overlook because they were the basics that you expect when renting a place.1. When we opened the door, there was a strong smell of mildew that persisted throughout the visit.2. The couch & carpets were dirty.3. There was dust & webs in several areas.4. The ac upstairs was not working properly. It averaged 85 upstairs while downstairs was 73. 5. We killed bugs (mostly silverfish) every day.6. Some appliances malfunctioned. (Oven broiler, frig ice)7.There was only 1 tv in the house & inadequate furniture in the bedrooms. (Bed, small table on 1 side & lamp) & because of lack of receptacles lamp cords ran across the floor.8. The only towel bar in the upstairs bath was the one on the shower door. Not even coat hooks for robes.9. There was a few small maintenance issues that could have been overlooked if the basics had been ok. The stairs make a lot of noise, there's nail or screw heads that's uncomfortable barefoot. This could be a nice place to stay if the basics were cared for.
Nice quaint house - clean and conveniently located. Hosts were very responsive. Only concern was upstairs rooms don’t cool well with A/C but fans were a huge help. Beds are comfy and everyone enjoyed their stay.
We really enjoyed our stay in Richmond and happy we found such a comfortable and clean place. Good showers and very comfortable beds, pillows and sheets. Will definitely stay again if get get ba k to Richmond for family events.
Everything was great and as advertised. Loved the outdoor space in the back. A few minor issues with a lamp that didn’t work, an outlet that was in need of repair and another lamp with no lightbulb and none to be found. Would have liked more than one tissue box in the house! The host answered my questions very quickly.
Perfect for small group of friends exploring Richmond
Four ladies who have been friends for 40 years gathered for a mini reunion and sightseeing. This property was wonderful as there was ample space for all of us, clean kitchen and bathroom facilities that met all of our needs, it’s very close to the attractions we selected, and the host is extremely responsive to questions. On a quiet street, but close to groceries, drug stores and restaurants. Would recommend this property and host!
We had a wonderful time staying in RVA for my nephew's wedding. The house was very clean and it was just big enough for us to hang out in during downtimes. The kitchen is quite small, but big enough for us to make a sandwich or grab our breakfast before heading out. Reliable wifi and responsive hosts!
The house was very clean, cute, and had everything you could need. I really liked the fact that it had bedrooms upstairs and downstairs. Beautiful back yard! Quiet neighborhood, close to lots of stores and restaurants. Beds were comfortable and everyone enjoyed their stay.
A group of us went down to play at an annual volleyball tournament in Richmond and were fortunate enough to stay at the Cozy Cape Cod Home. It was perfect for us. Very easy to access and an incredibly convenient location for our tournament. The house was very clean, well decorated, and generously stocked with a few consumable provisions. We didn't get a chance to use the fire pit and sitting area out back, but we would like to on a return visit. Carlos was very responsive and helpful during the booking process and during our stay. Our team is looking to rebook again for next year as we would absolutely like to stay here again.
The house was clean and beds were fairly comfortable. Better toilet paper, lids for pans and a larger sheet pan. The host was very responsive when needed even at 9:30 at night. My daughters and granddaughter had a great time on our annual girls trip
6 college friends, enjoying a weekend of shopping and sight-seeing at the river... house was perfect. We did use the firepit as well, which made this extraordinary house even more special. Hope to have an occasion to return here.
