You have a full kitchen so you can certainly eat in. There are large grocery stores in Sosua or smaller ones in Cabarete (both 5-10 minutes by car/taxi)

Choices range from mountain climbing, biking, horseback riding at Hideaway Beach Resort, to beach and sailing tours. There is white water rafting, waterfalls or jeep safari tours.
