Staying at this location was perfect for us. We loved how the cottage was furnished. We had everything we needed (maybe a small BBQ would work well on
theback deck
Great place for a getaway. It was central to all the places I wanted to explore and allowed easy access to and from, with a vehicle. Despite it being off the highway, it was nice and quiet.
I needed some time to myself and this was the perfect retreat. The cottage was just right, well maintained, well appointed, and the hosts were supportive and available on call. Close to everything you might need and in a absolutely beautiful part of the Harrison/Frazer River canyon.

Thanks for the positive review. We are glad that you had a good break
Basic and plain little cottage with a break-taking view from the deck.

We are considered a super host by other rental sites
Unfortunately there was an issue with her mail as she was coming from the United States during the Covid epidemic. Anyone that stays for 45 days, cleaning could be come an issue. We provide a washer and dryer, vacuum, mop and bucket, cleaning supplies etc. Our only wish for future guests is that they treat our home like they would their own.
Perfect little place to rest and recoup from everyday life. Bed was comfy, view was stunning and other than traffic going by on the main road, it was quiet and serene.
I would definitely come back again!
Nice stay. The house was well decorated and cozy.A few things need updated on the listing:Living room: now updated with a cozy couch that is golden (not pictured), no red ones.Backyard: Fully fence. Not pictured: gate to the right of the house. In the photo of the deck, the bushes behind the table and chairs are no longer there so it's nice and open for dogs to play, but is steep. There is a lower grade incline to the right that is easier to walk down. There is a gap by the gate that really small dogs could squeeze through. Backyard also has a trashcan to put the dog poo in. Shower (not pictured) was nice/clean but very tight space. In the bathroom is also the washer and dryer (not coin operated despite the listing). The windows need curtains that are more opaque. (The bathroom is on a busy road side of the house.) We requested a sheet to cover the window at night and Dehlia & Brad were quick to put one up.Kitchen had most basics but missing paper towels. New pans needed. We learned that left, back burner gets hot when using the oven (how it vents). Had issues with the fridge temp but D&B brought us a mini bar fridge to put things in. Freezer worked fine however. Other:A floor fan avail on request but we decided to use our own in the end. The house had a bit of a bug problem cluster flies and asian ladybugs. A ton of ladybugs. Light pest control and better house sealing needed. A light on at night for late arrivals would also have been appreciated.
We enjoyed our stay in this quiet, relaxing location in spite of it being located on a busy truck route.
The back deck is an escape from the noise of the city and has a wonderful view of the Fraser river and the mountains across the valley.
Not luxurious, but a good location between the Harrison River and Harrison Lake.
The pictures of the cottage were accurately depicted.
It was very clean and the bedding and linens were ample and spotless.
The cottage is charming and the view of the valley from the back deck and bedroom windows is beautiful.
We were a bit disappointed in the location as it is very close to a busy road rather than set back and near the river. However, with it being a cool and rainy April we kept the
back door and windows closed, which helped with noise
reduction.
We would not hesitate to return on the off season again!
This property was very clean and stylish. The location was also very tranquil, which was exactly what I wanted.
My only caveat is that the GPS will not take you to the lane where the property is located - it will drop the pin on the main highway. As you are approaching the property there will be an establishment called the "The Woodside Inn" on the right a few meters before the property. Turn on your right turn signal at this point and stay right, the entrance to the lane is a few meters past the inn.
Was the perfect place to get out of the city and relax with our pup.

Needs Better Care
This property has potential to be wonderful. A cozy cottage with a bit of a lovely water view and a comfy double bed.
Unfortunately, we needed to "make do" with dishes that were put away dirty and contain metal that arcs in the microwave. Low water pressure in the shower. A remote that needed new batteries. A bath mat in tatters, etc. This all adds up to a poor value for a property that needs better attention .
My wife and I stayed at this cottage for 2 nights and had a lovely stay.
The owner’s communication was fantastic before we arrived. While we were there, we enjoyed the farmhouse decor and took the time to take in the awesome views from the windows and patios.
It was just far enough away for a great getaway, yet close enough to Harrison and Agassiz to take in some of the sights.
If you have a dog, be sure to say hello to the friendly neighbours to the west of the place and also go for a walk along the river at Kilby Park (about 5 mins away).
This is a great place for a quiet retreat!
Had a wonderful time at this cute little getaway. The place is exactly as pictured and is very well designed. The claw foot bathtub was huge hit for my girlfriend and I couldn't stop lying on the super comfy couch reading a book.
We arrived after the sunset - so finding the place was very difficult, but if you come during the day, I'm sure you'll have no issues.
All amenities needed for cooking and staying in were provided, including some much welcome Coffee and Tea.
One reviewer stated there was no place to walk your dog - which is true - however, only a 6 minute drive away was beautiful Kilby Park with miles of beach front to enjoy.
All in all - a wonderful getaway and we will for sure be back!
