Modern Bungalow at Riverfront Stadium

No cleaning fees! Enjoy a stylish experience at this prime location in the Delano District, across the street from Riverfront Stadium and the Wichita Ice Center and only 4 minutes to Intrust Bank Arena and Old Town. This 1918 craftsman bungalow has been completely remodeled with upscale finishes, yet still maintains its original charm. The home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, glam kitchen, laundry room and workspace. Relax with a drink on the charming front porch or back deck. We are experienced Superhosts!
The home features two main floor bedrooms. The master is furnished with a queen size bed and the guestroom has a double size bed. The third bedroom is upstairs and is furnished with a trundle with two twin size beds. A queen size air mattress is also available and a pack n' play for infants. There are two completely remodeled bathrooms on the main floor as well as a brand new, fully equipped kitchen with a coffee bar. Enjoy dinner in the formal dining room which also includes a workspace. The home has highspeed Wi-Fi. The newly added mudroom is equipped with a washer and dryer (including laundry detergent).
You have full access to the entire home, including the backyard.

We were very pleased with our Vrbo stay in Wichita. We were attending a wedding and the house location was great for downtown dinners and dessert! The house is decorated tastefully, it was super comfortable, and there was plenty of space for our family members of all ages.

Perfect for a long weekend!

This home was warm and welcoming. All of our needs were met in a most pleasant way! It's located in a historical neighborhood so restaurants and shops were within walking distance which was fun and convenient. Would definitely stay again the next time we are visiting family in Witchita!

Great Location!

We went to Wichita for a softball tournament. It is our first time in Wichita, KS and this location was close to downtown and so many restaurants and fun things to do. We were next to the baseball stadium and got to see the fireworks after the game from the front porch. The little bedroom upstairs was perfect for a young son. He loved it. The check out process was simple. We will definitely save this to our favorites for next time we visit.

Great Long Term Stay 57 Days

Wonderful stay in a perfect location! I stayed here for 57 days while I transitioned into a new job in Wichita. The home was exceptionally clean, recently remodeled with all of the necessary kitchen supplies to make a home cooked meal. It is close to downtown and a variety of activities (ballpark/Ice skating--literally steps away) and still offers a quiet night's rest. I literally walked back to the house during the 5/6th innings of the baseball game and went back to the park to see the Wind Surge comeback and win. Dana was a very responsive host and the pride of ownership shows in how smooth the process was start to finish. This home can easily host two couples or a family. I will go back if ever the need; frankly I was homesick for this bungalow once my permanent residence was available. I would certainly recommend this property for a visit to Wichita..... 10/10!

Why they chose this property

This is a prime location for a short-term rental...directly across the street from Riverfront Stadium and the Wichita Ice Center, a short walk to the Delano shopping/restaurant district and only a 4 minute drive to Intrust Bank Arena and Old Town.

What makes this property unique

This is a 1918 Craftsman bungalow. It was in extremely poor condition when we purchased it. We have completely remodeled it, inside and out, including new plumbing and electric, but we also tried to refurbish and maintain some of the original craftsman workmanship wherever possible, such as the gorgeous original fireplace, woodwork, and vintage doors and doorknobs.
