Nice condo in a great location
My wife and I went to visit our daughter and her family who live in Georgetown. We rented this condo because it had two bedrooms so our two granddaughters could stay overnight with us a few nights. The condo is an older unit with some signs of wear but overall it was in good conditions and well appointed. It is very close to stores, restaurants, and Premier Outets Mall. We never had to travel longer than 10 minutes. This condo is pet friendly and it had an odor of cat urine that we noticed when we arrived. It is a second floor unit and the stairs are carpeted. Apparently, a cat had urinated on the steps at some point. I contacted the owner the next day and he apologized and had someone come in the next day to clean the steps. The housekeeper sprayed the steps which helped for a couple of days but the smell came back. I went out and bought a pet carpet cleaner and sprayed again, but could not completely get rid of the smell. Most of the time that we were in the condo we kept the windows opened and closed the bedroom door at night. Before leaving I contacted the owner again about the smell and he told me that he would have a professional clean and deodorize the carpet. You might want to make sure of that before you rent it. If the smell was removed we would not hesitate to stay there again because as I said before it is a nice place and in a great location.
