About this property
The LeConte Tiny Home on the Pigeon River
Welcome to Whitewater Outpost. Escape to the mountains and relax. We are nestled at the edge of the Cherokee National Forest, overlooking the Pigeon River. Whitewater Outpost is situated on over 18 acres surrounded by the Cherokee National Forest but conveniently located just minutes off I-40 in Cosby TN. Great Smoky Mountains National Park where outdoor recreational activities abound is right across the river. The LeConte tiny home is a 10'x30' true tiny home. The home is in a permanent location hooked up to septic, power, and electricity. The loft space is not included in the dimensions and the tiny home has a comfy den, coffee/eating area, kitchen with an electric stove and microwave, refrigerator, and farm style sink. The bathroom has a residential styled toilet, a 32" shower, and a small sink for your hygiene needs. The bedroom and loft both offer queen size beds. The bedroom and den have ceiling fans and there is a mini split for AC and heating. Enjoy the solo stove fire pit on the patio, have a picnic along the river, hike out the back into the Cherokee National Forest. Try your hand at fishing or enjoy sitting by the river, plenty of ways to enjoy nature. The LeConte is perfect for 2 adults or a small family. The parking area is gravel. There is a keypad mounted on the front door for easy access. There are stairs to the front door on the concrete patio. Whitewater Outpost is 5 minutes off I-40, easy to get to day or night. We are on the Adventure side of the Smokies. You can hike directly into the Cherokee National Forest on well developed trails, one is Buzzard's Roost via Stonemountain Trail as seen on All Trails App. You have river access with a small beach area for relaxing, fishing, or tubing, rafting as weather allows. We are minutes away from numerous Whitewater Rafting, Ziplining companies, and the Great Smoky Mountains Foothills Parkway and other GSMNP access points. Gatlinburg is about 40 minutes away and Asheville is 50 minutes away. Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, and Seiverville are all nearyby. The road to our property is paved. Our driveway and parking area is gravel. There is a driveway for northbound entrance/exit and one for the southbound entrance/exit.
