Beautiful, quiet farmhouse. House is set up nicely with plenty of room and beautiful finishes. The only thing is the driveway is a bit steep so getting in and out was a little tricky with multiple vehicles. But the house was great!
We loved the quiet country feel of this place. The animals around the property were fun to see and interact with. Very relaxing stay in a nice property.
beautiful place to stay! Hostess was awesome at communication and went above and beyond to make our stay and wonderful experience. Highly recommend and I hope to be in the area again to revisit
We had such a wonderful stay! The house had everything we needed plus extras. The house was clean and comfortable. The hosts communicated well, promptly and were very kind. We bonded with Teddy who loves belly rubs and has a great smile! The icing on the cake was seeing fireflies! A bucket list item for me and a dream since I was a child!! Thank you! Joan and Jean for a wonderful stay.
Beautiful home, very clean and well organized. It is in the country, there was some construction on Route 20 which may have made our route a little trickier, but the directions were clear and we recognized the house immediately. Recommend writing down or printing the check-in instructions, as I lost cell signal when we got there, but they did have great Wi-Fi once inside. Great views in rolling hills, near Apple Canyon and Eagle Ridge and 20 minutes from Galena. It is near a working farm, so we got to see some animals across the way. Inside was very cozy, new furniture and well decorated. Made for an enjoyable weekend getaway!
The farmhouse was a great location for our family to relax and unwind. Communication with Joan and Jean was easy from before the booking through our stay. They went above and beyond to get us any information we asked for. We enjoyed time outside on the deck listening to the farm animals. There were several things in the area that we didn't have time to explore - maybe next time! Our favorite restaurants in Stockton were Mud Run BBQ and JJ and Freddie's. The grocery store (Sullivan's) had everything we needed to cook at the farmhouse, too.
This property was just perfect for four friends who are moms and wives to just get away and be together for a weekend and the checkin and check-out times are awesome! It allowed for us to get a full day in with each other to catch up and just be ourselves with nobody to take care of! It was perfect and we will definitely be back!
They were very accommodating to let us book a short notice stay for a few days during the week. The place was very clean and nicely decorated and also very quiet. Teddy the dog was very friendly. We enjoyed seeing the farm animals. We would definitely stay there again.
I booked a weekend trip for my anniversary and I could not be more pleased or grateful, the hosts were very easy to communicate with and the house was beautiful, clean and had everything ready to go. I will definitely be staying again in the future and will recommend this to everyone. 5+ stars!
We had an amazing stay at this property! Everything was spotless, you can tell the owners really care about maintaining a clean and comfortable space. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Anytime we had a question, they got back to us right away with clear and friendly communication. There were plenty of games and activities to keep the kids entertained. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, clean, and welcoming place for the whole family.
This place is a true gem! Clean, well stocked and full of fun things to do in the house and around the area! I can't say enough great things about the accomodations, Joan's communication, the coziness and home away from home feeling this place has! Thank you so much for sharing your family's special place with us! We will definitely be back in other seasons, but the sledding WAS AWESOME in winter!
We had a great time at this beautiful location! We swam at the local members pool and learned that one can even rent boats at their marina.Joan and Jean have done a great job redesigning their family farmhouse with updated everything; well appointed remodel! The cows, ducks, sheep and family added to the charm of this sweet farmhouse. We made precious memories with our kids and granddaughters and even helped toast their first marshmallows for s’mores.Nice and quiet weekend with all we needed !
The property was clean and very well equipped. Joan and Jean made sure we had breakfast when we arrived. They left milk, juice, eggs and water in the fridge plus cheerio, snacks, toasts Nutella and more! They were very responsive. Beds were comfortable. My kids loved saying hi to cows each day. Very beautiful surroundings. We recommend staying at the farm house.
Our stay at the farmhouse was excellent! So relaxing. My father has Parkinson’s and my mom helps take care of him. My wife and wanted to get them away from the stress. My wife is also a disabled veteran and deserved some relaxation as well. Our hosts made this possible for us! We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the farmhouse was so nice. Any questions I had were immediately answered. Hosts are wonderful!
