The Cranky Canard is a cozy log cabin that sits at the base of the Warner Mountains at 5,340 ft on 20 acres and backs to the National Forest. Beautiful view of the broad valley of the Pit River where you can witness breath-taking sunsets, dark skies where the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye, and even Mt. Shasta —which is located 95 miles west as the crow flies. Aptly named in honor of the Belligerent Duck, come enjoy this high desert cabin in the wilderness!

The cabin was great my only suggestion maybe to add a bed side lamp in the bedroom and let guests know that the stairs are steep and the treads are pretty narrow, I'm 77 and in pretty good shape but still had to be very careful going up and down them.
