Property was nice and probably recently remodeled. Although from a distance everything looked clean, at closer inspection it was dirty. I did a little cleaning myself in the bathroom and bedroom, just to get rid of the obvious dirt. Location and size worked for us and our adult children. I would not recommend this for families with young kids. Parking indicates 2 cars should fit, but it’s very tight. We just fit at an angle. The host was quick to respond, but also quick to have us check out. (Even though we scheduled a later checkout ahead of time.) While trying to pack up to leave ,I had to take time and search through my email to make sure I confirmed it in advance, per the booking requirements. I guess I would say everything was just a ‘half a beat off’.

Lovey listing. Bedrooms are huge, the beds are very comfortable, plenty of towels, Kcups, shampoo, conditioner, all that you would need. If you go down a few blocks there is a lot of restaurants and boutiques. There are a lot of stairs to get to this property. The only thing I would say is living room furniture is uncomfortable and needs more seating otherwise it was a great stay.

Lovely place for a Pittsburgh visit

The home is an older building that is tastefully updated and well maintained. There was plenty of room and the kitchen was well outfitted. Check in/out were easy and communication was effortless. Thanks for a great stay!

Host was helpful- interior lovely- if you have bags/luggage it is difficult to enter - either walk around or climb alot of stairs. Not great, especially in the winter with snow and ice. Interior is lovely although REALLY HOT upstairs if thermostat is at 66 or higher downstairs.

Great home with historical feel

My family of five went to Pittsburgh for the Steelers first home game. The VRBO is walking distance to the Gateway Clipper (which we took to the game), restaurants and Starbucks.The exposed brick throughout the home is lovely. Beds and pillows are comfy.

AC didn't work so it was very hot in the unit. Area was a little suspect - especially the alley behind the unit.

The place was beautiful and clean. Had a few problems though, unable to use Coffee machine - it kept waiting to be descaled and there was nothing to descale it with. The grill did not have a gas container hooked up to it - so unable to grill.

Pittsburgh trip

Overall the stay was good. The owner was very responsive to all our requests. The area is safe and convenient but a little run down. Not enough comfortable seats for more than a couple of people in the main area. Although not dirty it could have been cleaner...we had to wipe down the countersamd the bathroom had some hairs. Plenty of dishes and gqrvage bags supplies. Towels. Etc. Sheets and beds were great. Check in and out were easy some

Ok if you stay locked inside, rent at own risk!

This property is nice on the inside. Old character, clean but not pristine. There is no house number so it took us 20 minutes to find the property and no one answered our multiple calls and messages seeking help to find it. We realized it was a tiny door in a vacant and graffitied building. This was especially interesting as the house was advertised as a townhouse and the management company said they have an understanding with the community of families that renters will be quite. NOt sure about that with the surrounding vacant buildings. Parking is not as advertised. There is only room for one car in the back so we had to park in the front which we were concerned over. Rent at your own risk. We certainly did not feel safe and have zero confidence in the management company as they have still not responded to our messages regarding the problems.
