The cabin is always lovely and clean. Perfect place to stay if you want time away in the mountains but also want to be close enough to go out and about. The creek in the back make this cabin perfection. Host is wonderful, prompt and easy to communicate with, if needed. The pool is also a nice lagniappe to this already wonderful stay. We’ve been many years in a row due to how special this place is.

Thanks for the great review Trisha, I hadn't heard from you so asked Julie if all was well! So glad you had another wonderful time! We look forward to your next trip to the mountains, Creekside Serenity will be waiting for you!
This cabin is very clean and tucked into the woods. We opened the back door in the morning and listened to the creek in the mornings. We visited our grandchildren, who loved the pool which was clean and easy to use. The bed is comfortable. Every amenity we needed was available. I highly recommend and would stay again.

So very glad you loved your trip. Our cabin is very close to the main road yet so serene and peaceful! Please come back!
This cabin was the perfect girls getaway for me and my young daughter. We played in the creek, swam in the pool, fed horses down the street (thanks for the tip, Nancy!), and romped (gently:)) around the cabin playing with stuffed animals, reading in cozy chairs and playing games. We appreciated the s'mores kit (made s'mores every night!) and I built my first-ever fire thanks to the help of the fire starter! My daughter also enjoyed a little spa moment in the jacuzzi tub. We barely left but didn't need to and didn't want to. We'd definitely stay here again and wish there was a Nancy at every vacation rental! Thanks again!
The cabin was very clean, well equipped, all was as advertised. Nancy was a very gracious host, answered requests/questions prmptly. Would definitely stay again.

Thank you, so very happy that you found the creek, cabin and surrounding area so relaxing, it really has the 'mountain' vibe even though its not high on a mountain! Glad you had a great time and we hope you'll come visit us again! Thanks for the great review!
We had a wonderful time. Really enjoyed the beautiful cabin. Very close to town but yet secluded away from all the noise and traffic. We wish we could of stayed longer. We will definitely rent again when we come back. Thank you for your hospitality.
Thank you for your comments! We are sorry you had trouble finding it, but glad you did and hope you enjoyed your ski trip. We're not use to 9 degree weather either, and hope you weren't too cold. Please feel free to send me a message with any suggestions or ideas you have for improvement, and we hope you'll visit us again!
We had an incredible stay this weekend. The cabin was great, the creek was great, the s'mores there to use as we had a little fire by the creek was a very nice touch by the host. The beds were comfortable. Will absolutely stay again!
We stayed for a long weekend with my daughter and 3 grandsons. My grandsons loved the creek and played for hours. Great location and great family place!

About the host
Hosted by Nancy Allison
My husband was born in Waynesville, and grew up in the mountains of North Carolina. I lived in Florida, but my family would spend summer vacations camping in the mountains. We own this cabin privately, and enjoy coming up and spending time with friends, enjoying the seasons, and escaping the Florida heat! We want you to feel like family, and because we come up, we greatly care about your comfort and your experience. We want to make sure it feels like your home too!
Why they chose this property
My husband knew the Henry family (previous owners) , and when we knew that a cabin might be available (years ago), we decided that when we were retired and traveled that we would want to be in the Maggie Valley/Waynesville area. After you stay here, if you haven't, you will know why we are in love with this area!
What makes this property unique
There has been great growth in the area (no suprise!) and our cabin is unique in that it is the cabin that is set back the furtherest from the road, making it more private than the rest of the cabins. There are no buildings behind us, just beautiful, peaceful mountain woods, so even through there are other cabins near us, you feel isolated yet safe. Our beautiful creek is just 12 feet from the back porch steps of the cabin, so we are the closest cabin to the creek. You can be lulled to sleep with the sounds of the running creek if you open the patio door of the master bedroom. There is nothing like having a fire in the firepit at the end of the day and listening to the creek and the stillness that is Maggie Valley. We are near the bottom of the hill, so there are no winding roads to navigate. Having a cabin in Twinbrook also means access to a year-round pool and hot tub.
