The cottage was well appointed and in a great location on the lake. It was very clean and had every necessary convenience. The view is spectacular with easy access to the lake. My son thoroughly enjoyed paddleboarding. There are several nice restaurants in the area and upscale shopping in Cashiers and Highlands. Beautiful waterfalls and cool temperatures add to the experience. Highly recommend this property.
Overall good stay. Several of the windows did not close fully wish let bugs in and the parking is tight but you can use the garage which helps. It is a nice location right on the lake. All in all it is convenient and nice for a short getaway.
The property was beautiful and the hosts were very helpful! It was the perfect spot for a getaway with friends! The location was perfect as it was a short drive from town and right on a gorgeous lake, where we had access to canoes and kayaks. We went on a few gorgeous hikes around the area (Whiteside Mountain, High Falls, and Rainbow Fallls at Gorges National Park). I highly recommend staying here, and I can’t wait to book my next trip!
What a great spot on the lake! We- and our two dogs- were in town while working on a construction project and this was the perfect spot for us. We all loved jumping in the lake at the end of our warm and dusty days- catching the sunset from the dock and the porch- and then waking up to the most glorious lake mornings. Clean, comfortable and convenient- and well-priced for the offering. Very easy communication with the owner. The dock must offer the absolute best view of the July 4th fireworks!
The location is beautiful. The house was clean. kayaking and canoeing on the lake was amazing. Also rented a boat one morning to tour the tree beautiful waterfalls on the lake. The only issue would have been parking, however the owner was very accommodating. It's best if your able to park your vehicle inside the garage.
Great lake front location with beautiful towns nearby.
