Overall good. There were a few small things -- toilet seat in master bedroom was loose and falling off when we arrived. Door downstairs was off the hinges. Parking was a bit confusing at first but we figured it out. Place was fine otherwise, seemed a bit out dated but was perfect for the situation. Would come back.

Beach Trip

We really enjoyed staying at this specific rental! One thing that we noticed was that on the listing description it was not known to us that the two levels did not connect on the inside which was no big deal but it would have been good to know when booking the property! Another concern of mine was the flies, they were everywhere so putting in some fly traps would easily help with that. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and come back to stay!

The only positives were proximity to beach and spacious accommodations. Downstairs unit smelled musty; deeply stained throw carpet hid broken tiles. We were not able to have children enter the first floor unit. Both units had ants on counters, tables, and floors. Some of the outlets did not work and outdoor spaces were not swept(debris). The condition of the first floor unit was unacceptable.

This property has a lot of potential. It’s great for large groups with 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs however I just couldn’t get over how dirty both units were. The downstairs unit smells absolutely awful. It had to of flooded it smells like mold really bad. The downstairs unit the rug was not under the couch like it should have been and you couldn’t open the laundry doors. The rugs upstairs were filthy. Nice size deck but again everything is outdated old and rusted.

Family Beach Vacation

The family gets together once a year at a beachfront location. This year Ocean City as it is closer to home than the normal Myrtle Beach. Upon arrival it was a bit confusing as to which unit was the one we were staying in and also where to park and reached out to property manager and did not get a response until the pre-visit inspector showed up right at 4. We occupied the first and second floor units and liked the privacy offered between the two units. The units have obvious signs of use (and this is early in the season) and could use some TLC. Found broken glass on the patio outside the first floor unit and showed the gentleman who was inspecting the unit before we went in and he took care of it. We had asked about a grill and there was a brand new one in the backyard (which needed to be cut) and a new tank of gas was brought over quickly. Third morning, water was dripping from unit above us into our unit and we called the property manager and within 90 minutes someone arrived to check it out and it was determined it was from the unit above us and they were great to work with until it got fixed. Kitchen had plenty of pots,pans, utensils and storage. The layout was great for us as the furthest bedroom was great for the baby. The short walk to the beach, the pool and other activities available at the Fountain Head was excellent. Food Lion almost right across the street was excellent. Family had a great time and appreciated the space.

This condo was listed as "Sleeps 16", which made our party think it was one big unit. Well, when we arrived, it was two seperate units, and we would have to all split up. Parking was a joke, as there was no clear outline of where we supposed to park. When we walked up to the units, the outdoor siding was falling off, the unit numbers were crooked and hanging by a nail, and there was no clear direction on which unit was ours. Upon entering the unit downstairs, there was dirt that was swept under the entryway rug, mouse feces in the dish drainer and in the trundle bed spread (which was also stained), and the entire unit smelled as if it had flooded and no one bothered to clean it up. The backyard had siding laying all over, the outdoor furniture had been tossed and was dirty. The upstairs unit was somehow worse. Everything seemed fine when first walking in, but soon we noticed mold on the ceiling in the hall, mouse feces on the trundle, and mold/mildew on the windows and ledges. This property was in shambles! Luckily, the property management company had EXCELLENT customer service and made everything right with a new unit!
