Burnt Store is a well maintained gated community with both permanent and seasonal residents. The property is a condo in Burnt Store Marina with two bedrooms (sleeps 4) two full baths, single car carport. Cable television, internet/wifi service (Broadstar Cable), large heated swimming pool within Commodore Club complex and unit has a screened in lanai. The condo has been recently updated and comes with a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. Laundry room has full size washer and dryer.

The on-site golf course is a 27 hole public course with restaurant, pro shop, cart and club rentals with driving range and putting greens. A fitness center and tennis courts are also available within the Marina property.

Casual and fine dining at Cass Cay with both inside and outside seating overlooking the marina basin and offers entertainment on weekends. Casual dining at the golf club is available. Burnt Store Marina has marked bike and walking paths along main roads for your safety.

Burnt Store Marina

This was a lovely area to stay. There is still a lot of visible Ian damage throughout this area as well as most of SW Florida but it didn’t stop us or any of the other residents from taking in the beauty of the area. The condo location is perfect being on the first floor. Would definitely recommend!

We had just short of a 4 month rental. This condo was well equipped. More so, than many other units that we have rented at Burnt Store Marina in the past 9 years. It was quite, the neighbors were friendly. We felt safe and secure at all times. The owner was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend this unit.

One issue is the tv service provider. It kept cutting out. Also maybe a odor coming from the bath

I found the condo very comfortable and quiet. The sofa maybe a little dated. The condo also had a slight musty smell. But all in all very nice accommodations.

Punta Gorda

It was 10 miles either direction to a grocery or other shopping. We cook for ourselves and a better supplied kitchen would have been good. Enjoyed the walking around the marina. we are not golfers or boaters so found less to do. I am a lap swimmer so it was 12 miles to a good pool for that. the sunshine was great.

Nothing is perfect

Our experience with the apartment, itself, was fine. The apartment was clean and well-furnished. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was near. Our overall experience was less than satisfactory. Upon leaving, the owner kept the entire (several hundred dollar) deposit.. claiming someone wore his wife's pajamas, someone wore his clothes and his new shoes, and there was cigarette smoke in the apartment. We did none of that. However, it's difficult to dispute. I sent polite emails to the owner asking about any other person, family member or cleaning service personnel that had access to the apartment. None of the emails were answered. Additionally, the apartment was open and unlocked upon our arrival. Any owner should lock away personal items when an apartment is rented. An owner should also ensure an apartment is locked and secured at all times when vacant. I don't know if someone actually did the things alleged or if this was the owner's way of keeping the deposit. I would just caution any potential renter to be cautious and weigh the risks and benefits of any vacation apartment.

Perfect Getaway!

This home is in a beautifully maintained condo development, within a lovely gated community. Located in a quiet area, 10 minutes to either Punta Gorda, or Cape Coral. The condo was spotless upon arrival, and had ALL the amenities and features needed for our entire stay. Close to the pool, and a great local restaurant within walking distance. we're just sorry it is already booked for next year! Ken & Lynn S

This was our first time staying in the Burnt Store Marina. All I can say is WOW!!. We loved it. The community was very laid back and the people were very friendly. I loved being able to walk to the marina and watch the boats. The restaurant there had great food and entertainment. The only negative was there were no close beaches, but the pool was within walking distance. The condo was excellent, loved the layout and the place had everything you need for a comfortable stay. All you need to bring is your clothes and toothbrush!! Thanks for the awesome adventure, we will be back.

Nice property

Nice property, good location, friendly neighbors, and great back yard, almost a park that is between several buildings. Everything went as described by the owner, but the sleeps 6 is a stretch as there are only 2 bedrooms and no fold out couch, but overall a very nice property, and would visit again but with the understanding that its really a 4 or 5 person condo.

Staying In Burnt Store Marina

My wife and I stayed at this condo for 3 months in the summer of 2015. We would recommend it without reservation to anyone staying in southwest Florida. Burnt Store Marina is a sizable, gated community of single family houses, low rise and high rise condos, a marina, yacht club and restaurants. Seemingly remote, it is only a 15 minute drive to either Punta Gorda then Port Charlotte to the north or Cape Coral then Ft. Myers to the south. The unit is well equipped for an extended stay, having a kitchen provisioned for cooking, a dining table for eating-in, 3 HDTVs, comfortable furniture and 2 bedrooms with baths. The ground floor, screened lanai is a great place to put a drink on the table, sit in a lounge chair and watch summer nighttime lightning storms over the Gulf. Your mailbox is close by and the community pool is never crowded.

Very nice!

The condo overall was very nice. It was spacious and had very nice furnishings. We loved the nice spacious lanai and spent a good deal of time out there. There could have been a few more utensils for cooking and perhaps a couple more bowls (like mixing bowls), but these are minor things. The grounds were beautifully kept, and the location was so quiet and peaceful. Just what we look for in a vacation. The close proximity of the pool was also a plus. The owners were so nice and very accommodating. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely come back. One of the nicest condos we have stayed at.
