Centrally located on a side alley, our newly refurbished barn conversion is in a peaceful location yet a stone's throw from Kingsbridge high street and the many shops, cafes and restaurant's that it offers. Kingsbridge is a vibrant, charming town, and the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach or a walk along the coast. For a small town, it offers an amazing food scene, ranging from Michelin star and fine dining through to cosy cafes and pubs, independent shops selling locally sourced foods, though to the major supermarkets. There are also a number of attractions including an independent cinema, gallery, mini arts centre, museum, and a number of outdoor activity providers.
Kingsbridge is the ideal location to explore the South Hams; located at the tip of the estuary and so within easy access to both sides and the variety of wonderful beaches they offer, making it a great location if you would like to sample a variety of beautiful beaches and coastline during your stay. The neighbouring towns of Salcombe, Dartmouth and Totnes are also within easy reach.
Originally a barn, the house has been lovingly refurbished offering a modern, comfortable space, with an open plan living area, three bedrooms, and a private courtyard.
The open plan living area is light and airy, and provides a sociable space to relax and unwind with family and friends. It consists of a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob and microwave, and all that you need if you would like to prepare meals. There is also a dining and living room area, which are perfect for dining and relaxing in after a day out or if wanting a cosy day in.
The French doors lead out onto a private courtyard, which is small but we think perfectly formed, and a rare space for a central location. The courtyard is equipped with a table for outdoor dining, a BBQ, and outdoor shower, which comes in handy after trips to the beach.
Off the open plan area, is a downstairs double bedroom with an ensuite toilet and shower.
Upstairs, there is a master bedroom with a King-size bed, a twin room with two single beds, and a modern family bathroom with a bath and shower.
Bedding and towels are provided, and super-fast wifi is included.

Other things to note:
The house is situated on a quiet alley with no parking space, and so please be aware that you will not be able to park immediately outside the house. The upside of being on an alley is that there is no traffic! You can park on the high street at certain times of the day (all day on Sundays and bank holidays) and in car-parks that range from a 1 to 7 minute walk away.
