Very nice apartment. It was not a problem for us as we were just at LBI to attend a wedding, however the place was above an appliance repair shop would may be an issue for some families. Just saying.

We had a great time. Ivy was very responsive to all our needs. 6 adults had plenty of space to stretch out and relax. Great location to beach and restaurants. The unit was stocked with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. The outdoor space is awesome with a fire pit, grill, and huge table for dining. We would definitely rent again!

It was a very clean environment with all the amenities one could hope for. Ivy was very quick to respond to questions and very helpful. It would have aided us to know that the VRBO was located above Dave’s Appliances. We didn’t think to look there when we were trying to locate the VRBO. It was nicely located on the island, but there was an uncommon amount of street noise from the main highway of LBI being just outside the front door.

This property is located in an ideal location, between the bay and ocean. There are many things to do nearby, and the unit itself is very spacious and comfortable. The host was amazing.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Our questions were very quickly answered. The place was well stocked with everything we could need - extra towels, beach chairs, iron (for wedding event attending), coffee, and more. We highly recommend!

This was a fantastic property - super clean, incredibly well stocked, and with such smooth and considerate communication throughout! The location is wonderful - a quick walk to the beach or bay - and the backyard space was such a nice feature where we could hang, kids could play, etc.

We had such a great experience. The home was exactly what was pictured. It was clean, lovely and every detail was thought of. Ivy was available when we had questions and always answered in a timely manner. I also want to say that I left my wallet there with a bunch of cash. Ivy reached out to tell me and went out of her way to return it. We loved our time in her lovely home and would definitely go back! It was the perfect weekend.

Great host, plenty of space!

We stayed for a weekend wedding and it was plenty of space for everyone. It had great amenities like a fire pit, outdoor shower, bar, etc. Many restaurants and other things to do within walking distance. Would stay here again!

Beautiful and spacious

Highly recommend. Everything was new and clean. Easy beach access and beach gear to use. Lots of space for seating, sleeping. Well stocked kitchen and appliances. Only have good things to say.

Very Whalecome beach home

We were staying in LBI for my niece’s wedding. Ivy’s home was beautiful- so clean, lovely decor and had everything we needed and more. Ivy was quick to respond to all my questions and could not have been more accommodating!!! She went above and beyond to make our visit stress free!! Thank you!

this is by far one of the best vacations I ever had!!!!!the place was absolutely beautiful and very, very clean.I have been renting in LBI for over 30 years, and I have to say this place was one of my family favorites. there was plenty of living space for the whole family and so relaxing.the back yard and decks were also a pleasure to relax on. Close to the beach and bay side. watching the sun set was gorgeous to watch, and best of all. we didn't have to drive anywhere. everything was in walking distance. I give the place a solid 10 in my book. I highly recommend this rental !!!

Vincent is an amazing guest. After he checked out, my cleaning lady got into the property to clean up. She was so confused because it was too clean and neat. She gave me a phone call and asked me whether or not I already hired someone else to clean up. He is so kind and accommodating. I really appreciate his response to the air conditioner issue during the heat wave. I am glad it didn't ruin his trip. I will definitely welcome him back.

Best VRBO Experience

I’ve used VRBO approx 20 times have had almost exclusively great stays. This one however was simply the best. The unit is clean, immaculately clean! The location is superb for the beach, fun activities: mini-golf, shopping, best jelly donut on earth and many other cool local attractions. That said, I y the owner was the easiest most accommodating owner I have ever dealt with. She is like family now! I cannot overstate how awesome our stay at WhaleCome Home was! Rent with 100% certainty you’ll have a great stay!

Clean, great yard, stocked kitchen

Rarely do you find a shore place with so much outside space. The fire pit, grill & furniture were great. We had space to set up corn hole. Inside was fantastic, too. I forgot cinnamon, but they had it! Sounds weird, but the bidets were a big hit & topic of discussion. We cooked and cooked and cooked - knives were sharp, lots of cutting boards. We couldn’t figure out the ice machine, but ice from an automat across the street was available. Deluxe donut shop 2 blocks away.

A Real 10

Our family is made up of Mom and Dad 70 years old. The kids, 40, 38 and 33. The grand daughters, 8 and 11. The home could accommodate all of us however not everyone could be there the same time due to other commitments/work etc. AS previous LBI homeowners, and now renting for the past 7 years this was the nicest home/decor and provided by far, everything you could possibly need, except sheets and towels (so we did not need to take all our cooking spices and beach equipment) it was all available. The quality of furnishings and appliances was superb. Laundry room just outside the main bedroom was a great feature.a beautiful fenced in private yard had everything to spend the afternoon and evening outside, barbequing games etc.The outdoor shower was very nice and excellent water pressure. Location was 1 block to the beach and 1 block to the Jet ski's and the bay. Sunrise and Sunsets from the deck in in the front and back of the house.The home is just beautifully decorated and beach themed. Access to many restaraunts, shopping of all types within walking distance and the Supermarket/ACME is just a few minutes away by car.One of the MOST exceptional features were the Hosts. Ivy has gone to great lengths to welcome their guests and make the accomodations a favorite you will remember for a lifetime. Kindness personified, extremely knowedgeable and experienced in real estate and providing the 10 out of 10 experience you were hoping for. We loved our 2 weeks.

Everything was very nice, IVY was very easy to communicate with, just a few things that broke while we were there (toilet paper holder, towel rack), but was able to get in early to drop our bags off which was super helpful after an early flight. Great location near the beach and restaurants. The only thing is the VRBO is above an appliance repair shop, so the backyard walkway gets super junky from their stuff. Overall would recommend staying here.
