Host was very responsive, which we appreciated very much. The inside was nice and updated. As there are no pictures of the outside of the home- we did not know that there were a lot of stairs to access the house as well as stairs to access all the bedrooms. This may be important to note for accessibility concerns. The pull out couch was also very uncomfortable to sit on. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Nice place, neighborhood a bit to be desired...

Our stay at the property was fine. The place is nice, but could use a bit of sprucing up. First, we were notified of the steps to get into the house. But I would be prepared for the amount of them. Its a good hike to get into the place. The lower half is lighted nicely in the evening, but the upper half is not lite very well. Secondly, the furniture on the lower level is a bit shabby. The couch is disgusting. The chairs and stools in dining room and kitchen need a good scrubbing. The furniture on the second level was very nice. The beds are very comfortable. We traveled in from Iowa. We visit quite bit to Oakmont. I am not sure if we would use this place again. Thank you.

Dirty home/owners workers entered while we weren’t there (very creepy!!!)

The home was filthy! I have pictures of the furniture. All the chairs looked like someone the result of incontinence. Needs more light at the entry doors it is pitch black at night very dangerous. Owner should make sure his workers do not enter the properties while they are occupied. We didn’t stay in the house the last two days and I haven’t heard from the owner yet. The home was 40 degrees when we arrived it took 6 hours to get to a temperature where we could take off our coats. On a positive note, when we caught the man coming out of the house, the owner did take the time to come to the home he confirmed that someone had entered the home using the door code and initially told us that it may have been one of the people that worked for him. This made the woman traveling with us very nervous and she refused to stay there any longer, so I had to Stay in hotels for the rest of my trip.
