Stay was ok. Good location. Not the best building. Walls were super thin so you could hear everything through the walls. House keeper in halls were loud and knocking too early in the morning.
The place was old moldy. They charge me taxes and extra taxes. Old building. My answer is no I had terrible experience with this place. Never go back there again.
Great location, room was fine. Body was and shampoo were watered down, disappointing. The "Local Services" fee of 40 per day was excessive and seems a little scam-ish. Just include it in the room cost to avoid deception.

Great location, should not charge a facility fee if your renovations are not completed
Awesome location, good check-in, the place is undergoing renovations and hence does not look at all like what is in the listing pictures (that is deceptive). Rooms are old and furniture is old. What is the facility fee of 45 for - you get nothing extra for it and are already paying taxes & fees before it. Great price for NYC but still the extra fee makes it closer to not a great deal but a decent one. It was incredibly close to our broadway show (2 minute walk) so that made it worth it but glad it was only a one night stay.

Old
The hotel is old, outdated and not clean, it felt and looked like a motel. The pictures that they show does not reflect the room you will receive. They are now in the process of renovating but out of 22 floors only three floors are done and of course I didn’t get on that floor all the rooms were gone.
The hotel is old. The shower/tub drain must’ve been clogged because it didn’t drain. I had ankle deep water when I took a shower. The air vent in the bathroom had an inch-thick layer of gray mold/dust. The towels didn’t smell clean. The air conditioner didn’t work and was blowing hot air. I asked and they sent up an engineer to open up the unit, but he couldn’t fix it so he just opened my window. But with rainy 40 degree weather and small children on the 10th floor, I didn’t want the si row open like that. .

Ok
Communication with the host via Vrbo was very slow and should be better, especially if you need to change your reservation and are used to good communication. Hotel was clean, staff were wonderful and very responsive. No vending machines onsite, bring your own water or soda. Breakfast that is included comes with a charge unless you get a ticket from the front desk. It is a coffee, pastry and a piece of fruit, which they put in a bag for you; no eating area. Rooms were clean, bed and bathroom were great, though the air conditioning did not work. My room was way too hot the first two nights. For what I paid, I should have been able to control my room temp and that is my most critical review. Other guests I visited with in the elevator said the same thing; the hotel should address this. I requested a fan and put in the window last two nights that helped, though it would not if it were hotter. Likely not an issue in warmer months, but it should not have been regardless. That said, hotel overall felt very safe and is in a great location if you’ve never been to Manhattan. I’d stay again but would make darn sure I could cool my room down. :-)
One staff member was helpful and went looking for a riom with functioning air conditioning. Girst room had bathroom that flooded when using the shower.
