The Highland House was comfy and very clean. Nicole responded quickly to every message I sent and was very accommodating. I'd definitely recommend this rental to anyone wanting to stay in Vero.

Great location! Easy walk to Kilted Mermaid for live music and good food. Easy walk to American Icon for some history, food and beer. House was clean, neighborhood was nice. Loved playing old school PacMan. The master can be warm as there are no ceiling fans (in any rooms) so be sure to use one of the stand alone fans that are provided by the owner. Great communication. Check in and check out easy! I would recommend!!

Well stocked kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, etc. The bed was comfortable. The neighborhood had less nice properties around it. I heard train noises at night which was annoying. The AC in the property addition did not work very well, but there was an additional portable AC and multiple fans.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback🍊! We’re glad you enjoyed the comfortable bed and found the kitchen well stocked with everything you needed. We’re sorry the train noise was disruptive during your stay. It’s not something we typically hear but we understand that everyone’s sensitivity to sound is different. There has been recent vegetation / tree clearing along the tracks, which has reduced some of the natural buffer between the railroad and the home. As for the A/C in the addition, the system and ductwork were newly completed in 2024 and have been professionally checked. We’ve provided a portable A/C and multiple fans as additional options to help keep that space comfortable, as we think the a/c company can do more but they insist it’s a late summer issue! We genuinely care about our guests’ experience and appreciate the feedback. We’ll continue doing what we can to make the home as comfortable and enjoyable as possible for every guest. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again 🍊

We had everything that we needed for cooking breakfast and a few dinners. We looked for charcoal and didn’t see anything, not a big deal at all to go get some but that might be handy to have on hand. Loved the proximity to town and walked to breakfast at Kountry Kitchen one morning.We were there for softball at Jackie Robinson Complex, it was really nice to come back to the house in between games to rest.

Beautiful Bungalo
