Sweet 2 bedroom private home in SoCo available over the summer and for major Austin events.

The home is located in a quiet central neighborhood, walking distance to restaurants, shopping, clubs and fun. Close in, but a sweet retreat from it all. On site-parking with additional street parking. Washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen, all bath essentials supplied.

Includes a screened in porch, a safe fenced yard, off street parking with additional street parking as well. Very pet friendly! The neighborhood has a real dog-friendly vibe with folks walking their pups pretty much all the time. There's a small open area next to a school which is the neighborhood dog park for after hours.

Grill and barbeque essentials provided.

This is the ideal place to stay for your Austin experience!

Excellent Home, Host, & Location

We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay! We had quite a travel adventure getting there, so it was wonderful to arrive at this sweet oasis. It was lovely home with a relaxing backyard in a friendly neighborhood that lets you feel removed from the big city while actually being walking distance from lots of fun Austin locations/eats. Jana was a wonderful host and we felt right at home while we were visiting family over the holidays. Everything we needed was readily available, including Jana if we had any questions! Thank you again for all your help and sharing your beautiful space with us :)

Disenchanted

We arrived to the property with all our luggage and the host had forgotten about our booking. Since we were a large group, all coming from separate locations we had to find an alternate spot to meet until the home was ready, almost 3 hours later. The rest of our stay was pleasant, until we were billed for a damaged ice maker and kitchen shelf which were already in a poor state prior to our arrival. Definitely wouldn't rent from again.

Sadly, this group was very destructive and, as a result, I had to keep the small security deposit ($50) to cover the repairs. They broke the ice maker, burned a large pot and hid it in a drawer, broke through a screen on the screened porch, broke a toilet seat, removed a shelf from the kitchen cabinets and more. I'm sure they didn't intend to be as destructive as they were, but the damage was extensive. Since this my home, this struck particulary hard. I did have to delay their check-in by about an hour and a half. That was an error on my part, and I greatly regretted it. I provided them a place to store their luggage and offered their party a ride to the bar where they had planned to gather for dinner. I own another vacation rental, and in all my time renting, this has been one of worst experiences with rentors. Generally people are super nice and happy to abide by the rules. Sadly, I can't recommend them as rentors.

The place was clean and located in a part of Austin that was close to everything. The owner was quick to respond and super friendly. I'd stay there again.

Just what I needed

I'm sure my wife and two brothers would agree, this place was very comfortable! We spent our three nights here for the ACL event and were nothing but grateful to be welcomed into this house that was cute, cozy, conveniently located to everything, and in a nice neighborhood. Communication with the owner was very professional and with a touch of friendly, it was perfect! Thank you, Jana!
