Villa Ventana: 7 Bedroom Luxury Villa with Staff included
Villa Ventana is a modern Mexican architectural masterpiece perched on a hill above Los Muertos Beach and Vallarta's historic Old Town commanding unobstructed views of all of Vallarta and the entire Bay of Banderas and the Pacific Ocean beyond. Throughout your stay you will be pampered by our English speaking local staff including our House Manager Lette, Assistant Manager and Concierge Yoshi, and our professionally trained Master Chef, Eugenio. While our staff are not on site 24 hours a day, they are available at any time if needed. Our staff work Monday through Saturday with the chef preparing two meals of your choice daily. You only pay for the groceries and we do all the shopping for the finest ingredients. If you arrive or depart on a Sunday there is no additional charge for meal preparation otherwise it is availble for a small fee.
We take great pride in our exquisitely prepared cuisine and will be in touch with you prior to your arrival to confirm your menu selection for your arrival dinner. All other meal choices can be selected after arrival, with the exception of meal preparation for events in which case we would like to plan further in advance. We also have a full time spa therapist on staff, and our House Manager and Assistant Manager/Concierge are always available to assist you with local reservations and knowledge, and of course to deal with any issues that may arise. The owner are also always available by phone or text.
The typical guest day goes as follows. Breakfast is served between 9 and 10:30 (or other times if preferred by guests). At breakfast, our House Manager or Assistant Manager review and confirm the menus for the following day as we shop daily for fresh ingredients. Quite often our guests go to the beach, shopping, or partake in tourist excursions during the day and eat lunch outside of the villa - but of course our staff are available to make lunch for in house guests. Early in the afternoon our guests tend to start making their way back to the villa while our staff are preparing drinks and snacks. Dinner is usually served in the early to mid evening hours by our Chef and one other staff member who stay through dinner service and clean up before leaving the villa for the day. Note, this is just a typical example. We of course have many guests that rarely venture from the villa, while others seem to be more on the go.
As the owners live in Seattle and New Zealand when not in Mexico, we are also available via phone, text or email 24/7. In the 23 years that we have been renting our properties in Vallarta, there have only been a handful of occasions when we have been called upon to assist with issues. The reason for this is that our staff are trained to the highest of standards, our managers speak excellent English and are masters at problem solving. Quite often though guests have significant contact with us (the owners) personally prior to their stay assist while planning their itinerary and making local recommendations.
Our location is a big part of what makes Villa Ventana so magical with unobstructed panoramic views from every room in the villa (with the exception of the media room). On either side of the villa are large lots that have not been built on and are native jungle. We own one of the lots which we acquired to insure our space remains private. We are in a residential neighborhood, but walking distance to town, beaches and restaurants. The majority of our guests do not rent cars and prefer to walk or avail themselves of taxis or Uber. Walking distance to town/beaches/restaurants is about 10 minutes or a 2-3 minute taxi/Uber ride.
