No communication or directions to room
The host was terrible about communicating. It wasn't until the day I was on my way that I realized they had yet to tell me how to the property or where the room was. After messages through VRBO went ignored our transfer driver called and left a message, then called and explained that we were there waiting. It was then the host looked at the messages on VRBO and decided to reply they did not expect us for another 30 minutes so they had not cleaned the room yet. But "the girl"would give us the key soon. After waiting outside the building for 20 minutes a young woman comes out and hands us keys. Through her phone tells us the floor is wet and to be careful, then asks for our id to take pictures for the Pope. We laughed thinking it was a joke but realized the translator probably meant father instead of Pope and we showed our id.As they left I asked which apartment. They lifted 2 fingers and said deu, then left. That's when the real adventure began. There were 2 sets of stairs in the lobby. We assumed apartment 2 was in the second floor so we choose one side and went to the 2nd floor. The keys did not work. We tried the other staircase and went to the 2nd floor, the keys did not work. I messaged the host on VRBO and asked which staircase and floor our apartment was on. No answer. I called and left a voicemail. No response. My husband and I spent almost 45 minutes trying the keys in every door until finally finding it. Needles to say I do not recommend.
