Awesome property! There's instructions inside for working the wood burning stove/sauna, and everything else is as described. It's on a "little" farm you can explore, but the property is massive with extensive walking trails and amazing views. Host is great, communicative but hands off. Their house is closer than I imagined (my boyfriend estimates 50-70 feet away), but despite that it does still feel private. It's definitely a retreat for couples, or close friends lol, and definitely not for ragers. Remember though, it is a clay house out in the woods, so it's less luxury and more rustic/romantic/there might be a spider in your bed. 10/10

Very cute, quiet. The sauna is amazing, easy to use. Most everything we needed for cooking/doing dishes. Bed was comfy, a bit tall for short people though. Scenery is beautiful. Will definitely go back.

The Straw Clay Sauna House was a beautiful and scenic place to visit. The wood burning sauna and Japanese cooling tub were excellent features of this house. My girlfriend and I took hike during sunset on the trails on the farm which highly enjoyable.

Lovely, quiet, close enough to stuff to do but far enough to get some peace.

Loved everything about the property and the surrounding areas. With minimal effort could get to Mt. Horeb, Madison, and Middleton and had plenty to do when I didn't just feel like relaxing in the cabin.

No parking or signage. Gravel/mud roads that teeter into gullies and ravines to help your car into a ditch. No clear walkway to property. Large black snake laid in front of the door entry. Cleaning people forgot to clean the unit; wet bacteria filled towels, unmade bed, empty beer bottles. I'll stop here.

Very quiet, very rustic. Place was clean although towels could be replaced. We enjoyed the space overall. I would recommend a couple outdoor chairs to be able to sit out and have my morning coffee or watch the stars at night.
