About this property

Cozy chalet in Pocono Mountains. Near skiing, Pocono Raceway & Jim Thorpe

Our chalet is the perfect place to relax and unwind, with stunning views of the mountains and plenty of amenities to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. From our fully equipped kitchen to our cozy fireplace and comfortable bedrooms, we have everything you need to feel right at home. Come and relax, you can sit on the deck and see deer come by through the day.
Our cozy chalet is located 20 mins from Jim Thorpe, close to multiple Ski resorts, rafting, hiking, atv trail, etc.
The space is decorated to feel like a vacation retreat and complemented by personal items. Additionally, you will find hand-painted and handcrafted items created by my husband and me during our stay.
There are three bedrooms in total. The master bedroom, situated upstairs, features a king-size bed and an en-suite full bathroom. Adjacent to the master bedroom is a loft area that we've made to evoke the sensation of being outdoors.
Downstairs, two bedrooms await. One offers a queen-size bed, while the other is equipped with a bunk bed - a full size below and a single on top (ideal for a child weighing less than 100 pounds)
In the living room, you'll find a cozy sectional sofa and an electric wood pellet fireplace, perfect for relaxing evenings. Our kitchen is fully stocked and ready for your culinary adventures.
The dining area features a spacious table surrounded by large wooden chairs, ideal for family meals or gatherings. Additionally, we have two high-top chairs near the counter.

We came for a weekend to explore Jim Thorpe. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of space. The home is very clean and comfortable. The owners were very easy to work with! Would definitely stay again!!

Clean, Cozy home in the Poconos

We had a great time spending the weekend at this home. The fireplace kept us warm and the couch and beds were much more comfortable than typical rental properties. The host is very responsive and answered any questions we had within minutes. Our group was very happy with our stay and would love to book again.

4th of July getaway weekend

The location was perfect. Felt like we were in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Giovanna recommended some great options for fireworks viewing. The house was super clean and perfect for what me and my family needed. Would recommend this house to anyone interested in getting a taste of the Poconos.

Quiet place in the woods

The host was very responsive throughout the booking and stay. We spent a lot of time outside on the large deck. There is some noise from passing cars on the road out front but nothing disturbing. The beds were comfortable and the living area furniture was in good condition. A great little place for a getaway weekend.

Overall, the place was great. There were six ladies celebrating a good friend. We cooked all of our meals. There could’ve been a few more bowls. The water pressure was bad especially if somebody was running the dishwasher or brushing their teeth in the other bathroom. We were short a comforter for the single bunk.

There are also extra comforters tucked away in the bottom drawers of the master rooms, but I completely understand that’s easy to miss when settling in. Perfect Getaway

Giovanna's place could have not been more perfect for our weekend stay. She was so incredibly welcoming and included everything we could have possibly needed. The house was very clean, comfortable, and peaceful. It was an easy drive to both the Jim Thorpe and Lake Harmony areas. I could not recommend this place enough. Thank you Giovanna and your family for such a memorable weekend. We hope to be back!

Great weekend getaway

My sisters and I were in the area to celebrate one of their birthdays. The house fit our needs perfectly. We wanted someplace that was close enough to Jim Thorpe to allow us to enjoy the Fall Foliage Festival and also give us some time away in nature. The house was exactly as described in the listing. It was clean and neat and had nearly everything we needed. The only thing missing was a toaster. It was a wonderful weekend!

Family vacation

My wife and I didn't go because I had the covid virus. However my son and 3 kids went. He said that the chalet was clean and had enough of kitchen supplies. The rooms had individual temp controls, which was nice. The kids enjoyed the many games and TVs in their rooms. The location was convenient, and easy to get to.

Top-Of-The-Line Cozy chalet in Pocono Mountains

Giovanna, was very attentive and easy to communicate with. The home is very nicely decorated, be sure to look up high and low because there are many nice things to see. We stayed during a very hot time, the air conditioning worked great and is very quiet. Beds and furniture were comfortable and entire house was very clean, dust free too! We really liked the coffee maker, remember to bring your favorite Keurig K-Cup Pods. Thank you Giovanna, you home is top-of-the-line! Mike & Kathy
