Enjoy the quiet in one of Kansas' smallest towns. Approximately halfway between Denver, Colorado and Kansas City, Missouri; Cedar is in Smith County located 19 miles southwest of Smith Center. Enjoy the Kirwin National Wildlife Refuge just 15 minutes west on Highway 9. Travel 45 minutes southeast to visit Glen Elder State Park, home of Waconda Lake. Webster Lake is located 45 minutes southwest. Multiple walk-in hunting areas can be found within ten miles of the property. Numerous hunting opportunities include whitetail deer, pheasant, quail, prairie chicken, and all types of water fowl. The Cedar House provides a true outdoorsman's paradise with room for all your hunting and fishing buddies.

Perfect place for an escape from the business of daily life!!! Also perfect place to get snowed in and owners were quick in responding and communicating with us!

Great house! Stayed for a week with our adult children, their spouses, 2 yr old grandson & our hunting dogs. House was very well equipped in ALL areas! More than plenty of everything needed in a house plus the little extras in case you forgot something. We all really enjoyed our stay! It was great being able to get all of us under 1 roof & not be cramped. Tom, the caretaker, took us hunting & is hilarious! He knows his stuff! Thank you so much!
