House was clean and cozy.
Will stay there again given the opportunity. It was everything that we were looking for. Very quiet area. Squirrels running around, saw deer running thru the backyard. Was able to drive the truck down onto the sandbar / beach along the river to haul items and hangout on the bank. Do need to state that there is no wifi.
Nice place to stay if you are looking for a quiet getaway. Half to walk to the river but the sand bar is nice to hangout on. Take a golf cart or atv is the way to go to get to the river. Overall nice place.
We thoroughly enjoyed a few nights at the cabin for a change of scenery. The cabin is stocked with everything you might need and has the most incredible porch. My kiddos enjoyed being able to walk down to the Sandbar to explore. Thank you for hosting!!

❤️ I am so happy you enjoyed your stay! And a big thank you for leaving the place in such good condition! I hope you’ll come again!
This is just what we needed. The property is beautiful and the location remote enough to feel a total peace. The porch is phenomenal. We very much enjoyed the swing porch swings and spend a lot of time there. Our host was amazing. She answered questions and provided information as needed. We will be back for some more rest and relaxation.
The cabin had a few issues. Wasp nest inside bedroom, washer kept shutting off, soft spot in bathroom. Other than that it’s a beautiful property. Amazing porch. Definitely bring a boat and golf cart/atv if you have one. The river is nice and we visited the local flea markets.
From the moment we arrived until the last minute there we absolutely loved the place!!
It is very far out of the way, but thats what we sought after. Deanna was a great hostess and was there for us at anytime she was needed to answer questions or help with anything. The area is beautiful and the river was nice. We will stay here again on our next visit.
The cottage was so amazing. Was decorated so cute and was super comfy. We brought our dog Ali g and he loved all the area to run around. Was so quiet too, great place for a relaxing getaway.Only one thing was not so great was the washer and dryer they did not work properly and had to be finagled to work. Other than that was an amazing stay.
It was good. It is on me that we turned left and ended up driving on the sand bar to the river side of the house. I did not screenshot the directions and had no signal to pull up the site to verify directions. A few creepy crawlies inside when we got there, but easy enough to get rid of. The grass had not been cut when we arrived, but they were doing it most morning the following day. Def for the outdoorsy person. Not a lot to do but enjoy nature. No restaurants nearby that we found, but there was a Piggly wiggly. Overall it was a really good trip and the back porch is awesome!
