One would think this name was given to a pet cow, but quite the contrary. Mattie Moo was a dog - a Pomeranian at that, and without a doubt Buck's favorite. Small and petite with overwhelming energy, she lived a full life and was loved by many. Mattie Moo still exists fondly in our memories and has marked her territory for the last time. We are devoted to keeping her spirit alive, so saving the best for last, we dedicated cabin #9 to sweet Mattie Moo.

Our stay at Mattie Moo

The place was very clean and inviting. Stocked with everything we needed. I was very thankful we didn't see any spiders, but being in January, that probably helped. We did, however, hear squirrels (or mice?) scurrying in the walls at night. Maybe bring a noise-maker to drown that out if it makes you squeamish. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay, and we would love to come back some day.
