Clean, comfortable, beautiful
Had a nice, quick visit. Gorgeous facility and amazing landscape. Friendly staff.
When we arrived we were pleasantly greeted by the concierge whom escorted us to our room and made sure we could enter our room using our code. After we settled in we went downstairs to the restaurant and had an awesome meal with breathtaking views of the valley. I will definitely return as I have family and friends in the area and the location is perfect.

Lydia Mountain Lodge
We stayed 4 nights in Once Upon A Time, a very charming book lover room. Managed to read one book while there! The lodge and rooms are exceptionally clean and decorated to match each theme. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The Bearrr Appetit Restaurant was excellent, good food and service. This trip was a very relaxing fun trip, being able to bring our dog put it over the top! We have booked another trip in August and will be checking out another themed room...can't wait!

Services Lacking
Guest services? What services? We did not encounter any. Some very misleading information like especially the restaurant. It was recommended as the place to eat but from our arrival on Tuesday until departure on Thursday it was closed. You recommended it on your check-in email and made no mention that it was closed. Where was the ice machine? Could not be found.
Our room was nice and spacious. The deck was attractive but too cold to enjoy.
The Inn would be a great place to return but it is not very easy or accommodating for first timers.

Charming room geared towards book lovers
I would give this room an overall rating of 3.75 out of 5 stars. Positives include well themed and decorated room without going over the top: clean, comfortable bathroom; convenient amenities such as refrigerator, microwave. Negatives include overly firm beds -- too firm to be comfortable; bedroom area in serious need of dusting; TV was not receiving signal when we first turned it on (my electrical engineer husband re-booted the system and got it

Beautiful room
Once upon a time is so inviting and relaxing. I have already been recommending to friends and family. I absolutely loved the decor and personal touches throughout the room.
Just a few recommendations. Get bigger blinds to cover the window completely. The blinds are too short which allows people to see in at night if they are walking by. It also allowed the morning sunlight to wake us up. Hooks for the back of the bathroom doors. And water bottle in the vending or somewhere for late nights after the restaurant has closed.
We would love to come back again and see more of the property and view some of the other themed rooms. Absolutely stunning views outside! And Joshua was so very helpful and kind! Excellent customer service! Thank you for maintaining such a beautiful property!
