The Ocean Pearl is a wonderful property. The location is beautiful and the owners have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. The living room chairs are so comfortable and inviting, the bedsheets are wonderfully soft, and the hot tub is fantastic.

Perfect spot to stop during our roadtrip. Close to Halifax in a beautiful location. Great sunset from the porch and our boys loved the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked and everything worked as needed. Towels and bedding were good quality and views of the water were incredible. Overall a wonderful rest stop during a two week road trip.

The property is beautiful with an ocean view from almost every window! The beds are really comfortable and the cottage has everything you need to settle in and relax! The hot tub is amazing and a great way to enjoy the view even if it's a little chilly out. We are ally enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property!

This is a truly unique location and nice spot to stay when visiting this area. The view is breathtaking and it optimizes being by the sea. The hot tub is tremendous to relax and enjoy every day. The house had everything we needed. There is a liquor / grocery store very close that also has a restaurant take out every day but Monday that was super handy. The owners were extremely accommodating and thoughtful. We had two groups coming from different areas and they expedited the cleaning for us so that we could allow an earlier rendezvous. Lots of interesting things to see and do all within 45 minutes to an hour. Highly reccomend.

Absolutely lovely place, secluded in a quaint peninsula away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Halifax, but still close enough to be convenient. Gorgeous private beach with picture perfect sunset views. House was just big enough for 2-4 people, very clean and tastefully decorated. Very happy with our visit

We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing stay. The property is as described. Kitchen was very well stocked and we were able to eat in for most of our meals. I had made many plans for our trip but ended up spending most of our time at the house because it was so peaceful, with easy water access and beautiful sunsets visible right from the deck. I really didn’t want to be anywhere else! It was so convenient to have the kayaks available at the house. The hot tub is another great amenity that we loved. The outdoor shower made it very easy to wash off before and after. Beds very comfortable and easy climate control with two AC splits. It was nice and cool at night so we barely needed them. Communication with the host was straightforward and responsive. Very typical house rules and check out instructions. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet location on the water.

Lovely Stay!

The cottage on the ocean was beautiful! Really nice views and amazing swim spa that we took advantage of due to the cooler temperatures that weekend. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need to cook. Would recommend!

Beautiful Stay outside of Halifax

We had a wonderful stay at the Ocean Pearl Cottage. The kids loved having access to the beach, a hammock to swing in and the Spa Pool. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage was well stocked with all cooking necessities. We saw a family of deer on the beach the day we were checking out.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay. The home is well equipped, clean and nicely decorated. Our 2 grandchildren, 10 and 14 loved the kayaking, and the Crystal Cres beach. That is a beautiful spot! The swim spa was terrific…thank-you!

Incredible location

Beautiful little cottage with an amazing view from anywhere on the property! We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the afternoons, and sitting in the hot tub and watching the sunset was a highlight of our stay. This was the best place we stayed in Nova Scotia and the proximity to the beach was fantastic. We are a family of 5 and would definitely stay here again.

The property was beautiful and in a great location for a getaway! Easy to access and get to the city, if you’re looking to go. We didn’t end up going to the beach as we were only there for 2 nights and loved spending time at the cottage. The only thing to keep in mind is it is very steep to get up to the loft, so ensure whoever is staying is comfortable with climbing up and down ladder-like stairs.

Our group of 4 retirees greatly enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Pearl. Host was easy to contact and most attentive to our needs. Cottage was well equipped, comfy beds and we loved the hot tub each night we were there. Great neighbours and view. It was close enough to Halifax for a visit there, Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg. We ran out of time to enjoy kayaks and other nearby attractions.

Perfect ocean-side getaway!

The property was fantastic, well equipped and super cozy. We really appreciated the scent-free clean linens and space. The view is amazing and there is nothing like enjoying an ocean-side soak in a swim spa. Mishoo's was a great place to grab dinner and beverage to-go(3 minutes away). The place was a great destination spot - away from the city but close enough to be convenient.
