Everything about this house was perfect! There was plenty of space for all of us (we had 9 people), the house was immaculate, the host was wonderful and the view just can’t be beat!

Family Vacation

All aspects of this property are top-notch. One of the best views on the island and we have stayed numerous places from Melrose to Bloody Point. Very clean and the kitchen is well-appointed. Communication with the host was always timely and very helpful.

The place was beautiful! The cleanliness of the house, the views from the porch and dock are amazing and immediately puts you at ease. The kitchen was huge and allowed our family to eat and relax together in the same common area. There was plenty of cookware to address all of our needs! All the bedrooms were spacious and designed with a great low county living. My family was already discussing when we would be coming back! Great place to stay to enjoy a quiet relaxing time with nature all around.

The property was exactly as described. It was easy to access, and we had to have had the best communication with a property manager that I have ever experienced. Dafuskie is a special place - it has to be the most interesting island on the East Coast. It is not for everyone, but it's definitely for us!

Daufuskie weekend

Great location on deep water, facing West for beautiful sunsets. Slept 8 comfortably (4 adults and 4 teens). Large open living room/kitchen/dining room and covered porch. We ate breakfast on the porch each morning. Dock was great for fishing and kids used the small pool (could use a vacuum but otherwise great). Current is very fast in the river so tie up your boat well and be careful if you swim. 6 person electric golf cart was nice (a little slow at 18 mph max). We rented a second cart for about ($250 for 3-days). Overall a great stay and would definitely rent again, Thanks!
