Overall, we had a nice stay and appreciated the host’s responsiveness, especially sending a plumber out on the first day. The bed was very comfortable, and the space worked well for our trip.Upon arrival, the Wi-Fi wasn’t working, but we found the modem and fixed it. I saw a previous review with this same issue, so it shouldn't be a problem for future guests. Cleanliness is the main area that needs improvement. While the bedding and toilets were clean, several other areas (bathtub, sink, floors, kitchen appliances, carpet, and dishes) were not up to the same standard. Many dishes and utensils were dirty on arrival. Part of the check out procedure is washing all dishes used at the property, but they were not checked by the property manager before we arrived. The bathtub and sink were clogged and not fully clean when we arrived, which makes me concerned for the frequency that a cleaning team is washing out the tub and sink between visitors. There also was a dead cockroach in the kitchen. That said, we did not see any live cockroaches in the building during our stay. Since a cleaning fee is charged, I wanted to share this feedback so it can be addressed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and hope this is helpful for future guests! Overall the property is nicely renovated and comfortable, but I expected higher cleaning standards.
