An experience of good and bad!!!
The property was great. The house was nice and had everything we needed. It was in a great location as well.
However, communication with the property owner was TERRIBLE. We had booked this property in April for 7 nights - July 10-17. We tried to contact the owner in May to request that we change it to only 5 nights - July 10-15. We got an response from the "property manager" stating that he would talk to the owner and see if we could make these accommodations. NEVER HEARD BACK FROM EITHER OF THEM.
I tried to contact them on several different occasions and contacted VRBO on several different occasions. Was never able to get an answer. On the day of our arrival we were suppose to check in at 4:00 pm. Showed up at the house at 6:45 pm and had not received any check in information. COULD NOT GET IN THE HOUSE. Tried to call the owner - no response. Called VRBO and they could not reach anyone either.
At 11:30 pm that night I received an email from the "property manger" with instructions on how to get in the house. We did stay in the house for the other 4 nights we were there. The "property manager" did offer us a refund for the first night (which was $85 short of what we actually paid per night).
The house was great but the whole situation was a mess and it was very poorly handle by the owner and VRBO. The property manager was nice but communication was TERRIBLE!!!
